A stroll back 13 years in time takes us to a very “well-reviewed” nutrition documentary that ultimately only delivers a laundry list of fear appeals, misinformation, and pro-vegan propaganda. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a vegan, but getting there because you’ve been told that every other way of eating is somehow dangerous is kind of a cheap way to do it. Sugar is the poison, but so are artificial sweeteners. High-fructose corn syrup is somehow entirely different than other forms of sugar. Meat will kill you, etc. It’s the greatest hits of food myths (although seed oils hadn’t been vilified yet).

1
00:00:09.759 --> 00:00:14.039
Welcome. Uh, we're back here with our friend Dean Sidors,

2
00:00:14.039 --> 00:00:21.000
who has been our like third wheel media critic.

3
00:00:21.320 --> 00:00:24.600
Yeah, the movie Expert movie. Yeah, third critically.

4
00:00:25.079 --> 00:00:27.679
I'm in the middle seat of the of the plane.

5
00:00:27.879 --> 00:00:31.960
Yes, and we're we're talking about basically a.

6
00:00:31.839 --> 00:00:37.880
Throwback documentary today, it's very throwback twenty.

7
00:00:37.640 --> 00:00:40.799
Twelve, twenty twelve, Hungry for Change, that was.

8
00:00:40.799 --> 00:00:43.079
An area I was watching every food thing in the world.

9
00:00:43.119 --> 00:00:44.640
So I was trying to obviously just be the best

10
00:00:44.719 --> 00:00:46.600
personal trainer on the planet. And this is what I'd

11
00:00:46.640 --> 00:00:48.439
never watched thirteen years old.

12
00:00:48.679 --> 00:00:53.280
And what's crazy about this is like a super well reviewed.

13
00:00:54.359 --> 00:00:57.960
Documentary. And I think that some of that is literally

14
00:00:58.759 --> 00:01:00.759
that whoever is behind.

15
00:01:00.280 --> 00:01:04.000
It propaganda made sure that all of.

16
00:01:03.920 --> 00:01:11.480
The you know, influencers of the time, blogs, websites, whatever.

17
00:01:11.480 --> 00:01:14.280
The blog Big twenty twelve blog, Yeah, every vegan, every

18
00:01:14.359 --> 00:01:16.079
vegan blog probably just threw down on this way.

19
00:01:16.159 --> 00:01:19.159
Yeah, if you, if you, if you look up my

20
00:01:19.159 --> 00:01:21.599
my I pad his dead. So we're not We're not

21
00:01:21.719 --> 00:01:23.719
on the screen in the same way today. I'm on

22
00:01:23.799 --> 00:01:24.200
my phone.

23
00:01:24.319 --> 00:01:26.560
Was this like the vegan like Atkins era? What was

24
00:01:26.599 --> 00:01:27.120
Akins era?

25
00:01:27.280 --> 00:01:29.280
Was that like clear is more like nineties.

26
00:01:29.359 --> 00:01:29.920
Yeah, Akins.

27
00:01:30.000 --> 00:01:32.560
Well even like remember Subway though, was like brought back

28
00:01:32.599 --> 00:01:34.640
the for sure era. Yeah that sure, it came back.

29
00:01:34.640 --> 00:01:37.480
But yeah, the book, the book Atkins exploded in like

30
00:01:37.519 --> 00:01:40.239
the nineties. This was definitely uh yeah, if you had

31
00:01:40.239 --> 00:01:43.239
to choose, like pop wise, probably the vegan vegetarian era,

32
00:01:43.599 --> 00:01:44.879
like popwise.

33
00:01:44.799 --> 00:01:48.719
This, I think this one somewhat predates Forks over Knives.

34
00:01:48.519 --> 00:01:50.680
And it predates one that I don't I think we

35
00:01:50.719 --> 00:01:53.560
covered here with the Aussie guess yeah. Uh, and he

36
00:01:54.120 --> 00:01:56.280
does what's the family guy joke when he's like they

37
00:01:56.280 --> 00:01:57.959
say the title in the movie and he freaks out.

38
00:01:57.959 --> 00:02:00.439
You know you know what I'm talking about. You've seen

39
00:02:00.439 --> 00:02:02.159
that family guy? Like he says the title of his

40
00:02:02.159 --> 00:02:03.439
own movie.

41
00:02:03.599 --> 00:02:06.519
He says, sick's a fat, sick and out of and

42
00:02:07.280 --> 00:02:07.840
nearly dead.

43
00:02:07.920 --> 00:02:09.240
Yeah, fat, sick and nearly dead.

44
00:02:09.439 --> 00:02:09.680
The guy.

45
00:02:09.719 --> 00:02:11.360
We did do that one early on, but I think

46
00:02:11.360 --> 00:02:14.840
that's past this. Uh yeah, So this guy's interviewed in

47
00:02:14.960 --> 00:02:18.280
this drops his own movie title and then they go

48
00:02:18.360 --> 00:02:21.800
make a movie about him. From later, it's the Aussie guy.

49
00:02:21.800 --> 00:02:23.400
I don't know if you've seen fat, Sick and nearly

50
00:02:23.439 --> 00:02:25.599
I've never seen that. Yeah, but the Aussie interview that

51
00:02:25.639 --> 00:02:29.080
they do quite a few times, and I do think, yeah,

52
00:02:29.120 --> 00:02:34.400
like that documentary was almost louder vegan propaganda, and we

53
00:02:34.439 --> 00:02:36.439
have nothing against vegans by any means before we start that,

54
00:02:36.479 --> 00:02:37.960
I call it propaganda because like.

55
00:02:37.960 --> 00:02:39.479
It's put on by those people.

56
00:02:39.520 --> 00:02:42.280
Well, and you're it's like I'm feeling, especially even how

57
00:02:42.280 --> 00:02:44.199
this thing's edited, I'm feeling like they're trying to convert me.

58
00:02:44.479 --> 00:02:46.280
Like they put me in a white room and they

59
00:02:46.360 --> 00:02:48.960
watched me this and forty minutes of it's like normal

60
00:02:49.039 --> 00:02:51.039
talk and then of all of a sudden they take

61
00:02:51.080 --> 00:02:53.280
the veil off, which of oz is out like vegan.

62
00:02:53.680 --> 00:02:55.520
Yeah, because the first forty they they kind of slip

63
00:02:56.000 --> 00:02:56.599
sugar's bad.

64
00:02:56.680 --> 00:02:59.319
Yeah, they slip you. Okay, okay, fat Okay.

65
00:02:59.520 --> 00:03:02.919
It was also food is directly linked with mental health,

66
00:03:02.960 --> 00:03:06.159
I think twenty twelve. Okay, we're we're saying things that

67
00:03:06.199 --> 00:03:06.599
are true.

68
00:03:06.680 --> 00:03:10.479
Yeah, eight to twenty fifteen. Not only in our world,

69
00:03:10.479 --> 00:03:13.680
but I think main world was more paleo than vegan,

70
00:03:13.719 --> 00:03:17.240
even because people then they started battling sugar for no reason,

71
00:03:17.360 --> 00:03:20.599
not for no reason, but they started battling sugar. I mean,

72
00:03:20.680 --> 00:03:23.159
all of it's just so zoomed blaster screen.

73
00:03:23.319 --> 00:03:25.039
Damn, I'm trying to probably keep losing it.

74
00:03:25.080 --> 00:03:27.439
Okay, all of it's just so zoomed in. These people

75
00:03:27.439 --> 00:03:29.800
don't like have any logic when they think, you know,

76
00:03:29.879 --> 00:03:31.639
and like I'm sure some of them are smarter on

77
00:03:31.680 --> 00:03:34.280
a molecular level than me, but like they're just always

78
00:03:34.319 --> 00:03:36.360
picking an enemy. And as soon as you pick an enemy,

79
00:03:36.360 --> 00:03:38.639
to me, it's a red flag that you're starting a cult.

80
00:03:38.879 --> 00:03:41.680
You know, like nothing's you know, like what the sugar

81
00:03:41.759 --> 00:03:43.800
is not the enemy, Like, yeah, we need some moder

82
00:03:43.840 --> 00:03:44.879
read the best part about it.

83
00:03:44.879 --> 00:03:47.759
Too, it's like also okay, but making like an obese

84
00:03:47.840 --> 00:03:50.680
person just chugging fucking fruit all day out of it,

85
00:03:50.719 --> 00:03:51.680
like that is no different.

86
00:03:52.080 --> 00:03:55.199
It's sugar, sugar. Dude's dicking a basil shake. That fool's

87
00:03:55.240 --> 00:03:57.360
throwing like basil and like cilantro in a shake.

88
00:03:57.520 --> 00:03:59.159
I think I must have fallen asleep for that part

89
00:03:59.159 --> 00:04:00.280
because I don't remember that dude.

90
00:04:00.280 --> 00:04:02.919
When they're explaining the juicing, because juicing was bigger and

91
00:04:03.000 --> 00:04:07.080
obviously early two ks due, they're throwing like basil and

92
00:04:07.120 --> 00:04:09.800
like cilantro because it detoxifies, and that's the other thing

93
00:04:09.800 --> 00:04:11.800
they're like trying to be all science and then you're saying,

94
00:04:11.800 --> 00:04:14.479
like detox I'm like that and maybe a little bit

95
00:04:14.560 --> 00:04:17.319
I'm triggered by that word because there is some of it,

96
00:04:17.399 --> 00:04:20.279
but like, you're not detoxing shit, bitch.

97
00:04:20.600 --> 00:04:21.600
The uh.

98
00:04:23.000 --> 00:04:27.560
This structurally, this one's very weird. But they go like,

99
00:04:27.800 --> 00:04:31.040
sugar is the devil, you know, sugar is heroin whatever.

100
00:04:31.560 --> 00:04:34.199
Many times they say that a lot. That lady just

101
00:04:34.240 --> 00:04:36.360
like loved that she had, that was like her things

102
00:04:36.360 --> 00:04:37.800
like I got this in my pocket. She wrote it

103
00:04:37.839 --> 00:04:38.560
down that day before.

104
00:04:39.040 --> 00:04:41.040
That's what I'm saying. That's how it makes it feel

105
00:04:41.079 --> 00:04:41.680
so colty.

106
00:04:41.800 --> 00:04:43.720
Yeah, that she was weird.

107
00:04:44.199 --> 00:04:48.399
She she was a true believer one.

108
00:04:48.439 --> 00:04:49.399
She was the edgy one.

109
00:04:49.519 --> 00:04:51.399
Yeah, the only one. Dude. I liked me on edge,

110
00:04:51.439 --> 00:04:53.399
the kind of bald white dude. And I didn't like

111
00:04:53.399 --> 00:04:55.120
everything he said, but like at least he spoked a

112
00:04:55.160 --> 00:04:57.040
little more toned down, not bald, but like shaved head,

113
00:04:57.040 --> 00:04:59.639
gray hair. Forgot his name, but he said something like

114
00:04:59.680 --> 00:05:00.399
semi normal.

115
00:05:00.399 --> 00:05:04.079
Shiit a tech problem, tean, Oh you disconnected?

116
00:05:04.920 --> 00:05:05.879
We're good, okay.

117
00:05:06.959 --> 00:05:15.279
Uh Yeah, sugar is sugar is bad. Additives are bad, which.

118
00:05:15.720 --> 00:05:19.079
Kind of shows the the age of this documentary. Sure,

119
00:05:19.199 --> 00:05:22.959
as far as like the aspartame studies as yeah, yeah,

120
00:05:22.959 --> 00:05:26.680
they've made that way. That is such complete bullshit. We've

121
00:05:26.759 --> 00:05:30.680
nowadays now we know like, oh that actually was one wrong.

122
00:05:30.720 --> 00:05:32.519
That was a huge thing the nineties too. I feel

123
00:05:32.560 --> 00:05:34.959
like like they're just battling ascertain being the worst thing

124
00:05:34.959 --> 00:05:35.720
on the planet.

125
00:05:35.519 --> 00:05:39.360
For you cleanses what else.

126
00:05:39.879 --> 00:05:44.560
It was like it was like a rogues gallery of

127
00:05:45.040 --> 00:05:49.040
weird ass untrue jumped to the wrong conclusion.

128
00:05:49.759 --> 00:05:51.199
Uh, nutritional ship.

129
00:05:51.560 --> 00:05:53.279
The other big red flag is like they don't mention

130
00:05:53.519 --> 00:05:56.519
exercise or lifting weights till like fifty minutes in yea,

131
00:05:56.879 --> 00:05:59.600
like one mention. Don't remember all they said it like

132
00:05:59.639 --> 00:06:03.160
once one time, one lady I think mentioned it very yeah.

133
00:06:03.199 --> 00:06:05.000
And if you combine that with like.

134
00:06:06.800 --> 00:06:09.759
I mean, they did like little in depth bits about

135
00:06:09.800 --> 00:06:12.279
each one of the things that they're that they're fear

136
00:06:12.360 --> 00:06:15.279
mongering about. Really it's it's fear appeal on one after

137
00:06:15.319 --> 00:06:18.360
another after another, and then at some point they start

138
00:06:18.399 --> 00:06:21.000
to just fucking mix them just like this one. Here's

139
00:06:21.000 --> 00:06:22.079
this one, here's this one that's.

140
00:06:22.000 --> 00:06:24.240
Dude, over and over and over, dude just battling chocolate

141
00:06:24.319 --> 00:06:27.480
milk for half an hour on stage. Sugar. It's a

142
00:06:27.560 --> 00:06:30.759
Ted Talk just battling chocolate milk.

143
00:06:30.759 --> 00:06:34.000
That's ch I did love the visual of the wheelbarrel

144
00:06:34.000 --> 00:06:35.279
full of sugar cubes.

145
00:06:35.319 --> 00:06:37.879
That's just chocolate milk. One year, one week, one month,

146
00:06:38.319 --> 00:06:38.800
one year.

147
00:06:39.319 --> 00:06:42.639
Think of that's the shortest Ted Talk ever. Think about

148
00:06:42.920 --> 00:06:45.680
think about how much money he put in the pockets

149
00:06:45.680 --> 00:06:47.439
of Big Sugar though for that demonstration.

150
00:06:47.639 --> 00:06:48.959
Yeah, yeah, it's true.

151
00:06:49.000 --> 00:06:51.839
He had to buy it all high fruitdroke, pi fer jokes,

152
00:06:52.000 --> 00:06:55.399
corn srup. That's another one. That was the demon to.

153
00:06:55.399 --> 00:06:58.319
Jump around reviewing it because how bad it jumped around.

154
00:06:58.439 --> 00:07:03.480
It jumps around so much like there's no straightforward structure.

155
00:07:03.519 --> 00:07:07.839
The only like through line is the the scenes of

156
00:07:07.839 --> 00:07:12.800
this crazy woman like that they're a psychologist. What was Yeah,

157
00:07:12.879 --> 00:07:14.399
the fake story, the fake story.

158
00:07:14.480 --> 00:07:16.720
Yeah, the good the chick, the random chick hitting on

159
00:07:16.800 --> 00:07:18.480
her elevator co worker.

160
00:07:18.639 --> 00:07:20.279
Oh my god, I don't eve want to I didn't

161
00:07:20.279 --> 00:07:20.600
want to say.

162
00:07:20.800 --> 00:07:22.560
I thought a porn was about to start. I thought

163
00:07:22.560 --> 00:07:23.199
they were just about the.

164
00:07:24.040 --> 00:07:26.920
Elevator the very end of the entire documentary.

165
00:07:26.959 --> 00:07:28.240
I know that was cute. That was a good rap up.

166
00:07:28.279 --> 00:07:30.040
When she goes, I'll tell.

167
00:07:29.920 --> 00:07:33.279
Him, actually it doesn't even matter anymore. Yeah, he after

168
00:07:33.319 --> 00:07:35.279
she like coughed and he's like, did you say something

169
00:07:36.040 --> 00:07:37.319
actually doesn't matter?

170
00:07:37.600 --> 00:07:41.319
I ordered myself a rabbit unless spending evening at home alone.

171
00:07:42.120 --> 00:07:43.199
You're just like, wait a second.

172
00:07:43.399 --> 00:07:45.720
What I don't understand is like there's obviously money behind

173
00:07:45.759 --> 00:07:48.240
these things and they got popular. Forks over Knives, this,

174
00:07:48.480 --> 00:07:51.839
Dead Sick and Nearly Sick or whatever the fuck? All

175
00:07:51.879 --> 00:07:54.279
these movies like make a wave, especially in our space,

176
00:07:54.279 --> 00:07:56.399
but even in the world, you know, people will talk

177
00:07:56.399 --> 00:07:59.319
about these things, especially in this era. I feel like

178
00:07:59.319 --> 00:08:01.800
because they were like Netflix didn't update that much, so

179
00:08:01.839 --> 00:08:03.360
you get something like this and be number one on

180
00:08:03.360 --> 00:08:06.560
Netflix rights because all they had was like yeah, season

181
00:08:06.560 --> 00:08:08.800
one of Stranger Things or something. There wasn't all this competition,

182
00:08:08.879 --> 00:08:11.560
so these things would really win a lot of eyes

183
00:08:11.600 --> 00:08:13.959
and a lot of popularity. And so there's money involved.

184
00:08:14.000 --> 00:08:16.920
I don't know how much, but how are then.

185
00:08:16.839 --> 00:08:18.480
You could definitely make a lot of money on a dock.

186
00:08:18.439 --> 00:08:20.360
Lin and and I felt like they put money into it,

187
00:08:20.480 --> 00:08:23.120
you know, like like this wasn't like poorly edited per se.

188
00:08:23.120 --> 00:08:26.360
Obviously it's outdated, but the issue is the style and

189
00:08:26.399 --> 00:08:31.199
the emotional Like the emotional story is so corporate and

190
00:08:31.360 --> 00:08:34.840
bad there's no way because clearly they're trying to convert

191
00:08:34.840 --> 00:08:39.320
somebody to drop sugar. There's not an inkling. And obviously

192
00:08:39.320 --> 00:08:41.480
I'm a little bit well versed in battling, you know,

193
00:08:41.559 --> 00:08:44.679
gurus and gimmicks and scams, but still there's not even

194
00:08:44.720 --> 00:08:48.279
an inkling of like emotional ties that win me over.

195
00:08:48.600 --> 00:08:51.759
Like it's edited so poorly. It literally feels like if

196
00:08:51.759 --> 00:08:54.399
you were to go work for like big lagoon and

197
00:08:54.440 --> 00:08:57.279
you they you're hired day one, they put you in

198
00:08:57.279 --> 00:08:59.320
an office and force you to watch that. That's what

199
00:08:59.360 --> 00:08:59.879
it feels like.

200
00:09:00.200 --> 00:09:02.919
Yeah, I mean they were showing this in schools, they were.

201
00:09:03.159 --> 00:09:05.759
That's what it felt like. But that's exactly my point

202
00:09:05.799 --> 00:09:07.840
is that's the worst thing to show a kid. That's

203
00:09:07.879 --> 00:09:10.159
not gonna win any kid over, Like, do something cool.

204
00:09:10.279 --> 00:09:12.120
I don't like something you would have to sit down

205
00:09:12.120 --> 00:09:15.240
and watch in your like biology class or some shit

206
00:09:15.399 --> 00:09:15.679
for like.

207
00:09:15.639 --> 00:09:17.120
A fucking hour and a half.

208
00:09:17.200 --> 00:09:17.840
We'll do nothing.

209
00:09:17.879 --> 00:09:20.159
Though maybe they made maybe that's the whole thing, and

210
00:09:20.240 --> 00:09:22.440
maybe they made it to sell the school days.

211
00:09:22.559 --> 00:09:24.360
It's a money game. I mean, it's a money game,

212
00:09:24.399 --> 00:09:26.799
that's it. And that's but why wouldn't you want to

213
00:09:26.840 --> 00:09:29.759
make a movie to make change, Like it's so bad,

214
00:09:30.039 --> 00:09:32.320
No one cares about us, Mike, but all of them,

215
00:09:32.480 --> 00:09:33.519
all of them are so bad.

216
00:09:33.759 --> 00:09:33.840
No.

217
00:09:33.919 --> 00:09:37.279
But even if even if they're there, a goal is wrong, right,

218
00:09:37.279 --> 00:09:39.240
even though they're trying to make us all vegan, not wrong,

219
00:09:39.279 --> 00:09:41.879
but not what I think is best. Even if you're

220
00:09:41.879 --> 00:09:44.799
trying to go all vegan and and force the world

221
00:09:44.879 --> 00:09:48.159
to be vegan, or do you think that's truly the best?

222
00:09:48.440 --> 00:09:51.840
You're doing it so poorly, that's my point, right, Like,

223
00:09:51.840 --> 00:09:55.879
like it's not entertaining, it's not emotionally ties, like they

224
00:09:55.919 --> 00:09:58.000
could have done a story on a real person like

225
00:09:58.039 --> 00:10:00.720
that chick. Yeah, and at least try to draw something.

226
00:10:00.759 --> 00:10:03.559
The editing is so bad. The music's crazy music. The

227
00:10:03.679 --> 00:10:07.879
music's like you're in like some shitty you know, backdoor

228
00:10:07.960 --> 00:10:08.840
church or something like.

229
00:10:08.840 --> 00:10:12.200
It's like you're at like a scientology like orientation.

230
00:10:11.919 --> 00:10:14.120
Literally and it's like got the it's got the nineties

231
00:10:14.279 --> 00:10:18.120
school day background, you know, the marbled background looking shits?

232
00:10:19.320 --> 00:10:21.080
Is this an episode of ancient Aliens? What is this?

233
00:10:21.200 --> 00:10:21.480
Yeah?

234
00:10:21.720 --> 00:10:23.080
That's how it kind of felt.

235
00:10:23.360 --> 00:10:26.200
They did have an alien quality to them, some of

236
00:10:26.320 --> 00:10:28.080
the from their expert wizard people.

237
00:10:28.240 --> 00:10:29.559
Yeah, I mean a lot of them are a little

238
00:10:29.559 --> 00:10:30.279
glass eyed too.

239
00:10:32.200 --> 00:10:35.159
They're all they're all all in on this like wrong concept.

240
00:10:35.279 --> 00:10:38.879
Yeah, all in is a is a very important point

241
00:10:38.919 --> 00:10:43.240
here because these folks are, many of them portrayed as experts,

242
00:10:43.240 --> 00:10:44.519
and some of them we don't know who the.

243
00:10:44.480 --> 00:10:47.600
Fuck they are, Like anybody could call themselves an expert

244
00:10:47.639 --> 00:10:48.960
back in twenty twelve.

245
00:10:48.720 --> 00:10:51.080
But you know, doctor in front of their name or whatever,

246
00:10:51.120 --> 00:10:51.799
what kind of doctor.

247
00:10:52.000 --> 00:10:53.399
They're all chiropractors or something.

248
00:10:53.519 --> 00:10:57.080
Yeah, pretty much, Yeah, pseudoscience. I didn't I didn't look

249
00:10:57.159 --> 00:10:59.840
that up, but it feels that way. But they speaking

250
00:11:00.159 --> 00:11:04.799
so emphatically, so black and white about these things, where

251
00:11:05.000 --> 00:11:08.440
like real people who deal with science and medicine, they

252
00:11:08.519 --> 00:11:11.320
reserve the black and white for the things that are

253
00:11:11.399 --> 00:11:15.799
pretty well damned established and not well, we don't know.

254
00:11:15.879 --> 00:11:18.399
But even that, Yeah, even the best researchers I know

255
00:11:18.440 --> 00:11:20.840
always say like yeah, as of right now, it looks

256
00:11:20.919 --> 00:11:23.440
like yeah, because like anything can happen, Like.

257
00:11:23.960 --> 00:11:27.639
Maybe it was directed towards showing like back to the

258
00:11:27.679 --> 00:11:31.399
school kids. It was made where anybody could understand it

259
00:11:31.440 --> 00:11:33.399
and be persuaded by it, But that's my money.

260
00:11:33.480 --> 00:11:35.799
Level of intelligence, Like the level of persuasion is still

261
00:11:35.840 --> 00:11:36.519
like two out of ten.

262
00:11:36.600 --> 00:11:37.440
It's so bad.

263
00:11:37.519 --> 00:11:39.559
Well for an adult like us, yeah, but like for

264
00:11:39.600 --> 00:11:41.679
like a twelve or thirteen year old kid in school,

265
00:11:42.080 --> 00:11:44.759
exafinitely not. I'm dying a dude.

266
00:11:44.759 --> 00:11:46.919
They showed me like supersized me and all that, and

267
00:11:46.960 --> 00:11:49.519
that didn't fold me once. And that's even a better story, right,

268
00:11:49.559 --> 00:11:52.279
like supersize me in hindsight, like as just a movie,

269
00:11:52.600 --> 00:11:54.879
isn't that bad. It's like one of better documentaries, I think,

270
00:11:54.879 --> 00:11:56.000
because at least there's a story.

271
00:11:56.240 --> 00:11:59.080
It is more entertaining rights that the nostalgia factor.

272
00:11:59.600 --> 00:12:01.200
But you're gonn like watch it even if you watched it,

273
00:12:01.240 --> 00:12:03.240
you've seen a swepisode US, yes, yeah, Like it's like

274
00:12:03.360 --> 00:12:05.919
it's like put together, well, it's following one guy. They

275
00:12:05.960 --> 00:12:09.039
have funny little cartoons. They like play into the corny.

276
00:12:09.120 --> 00:12:10.960
They don't try to do like a real chart. They

277
00:12:11.000 --> 00:12:13.720
do like a silly one, like like the general style

278
00:12:13.759 --> 00:12:15.559
will make you want to watch it and believe that

279
00:12:15.639 --> 00:12:17.759
this dude who did end up dying but it's going

280
00:12:17.840 --> 00:12:21.480
to die from whatever. Anyways. This has I feel like nobody,

281
00:12:21.799 --> 00:12:25.279
unless someone's so lost in their nutritional path, would be

282
00:12:25.320 --> 00:12:26.080
persuaded by this.

283
00:12:26.240 --> 00:12:28.200
Yeah, Morgan Spurlock was a performer.

284
00:12:29.000 --> 00:12:33.039
Yeah, yeah, these these people are their performative but not performers.

285
00:12:33.080 --> 00:12:36.399
But even that, like a good like doctor has to

286
00:12:36.399 --> 00:12:39.360
present somewhere, right, like you presented to it, like you

287
00:12:39.360 --> 00:12:42.720
should be good at talking. I forgot who else. Uh

288
00:12:42.799 --> 00:12:44.320
it was it was a political so we don't have

289
00:12:44.360 --> 00:12:45.919
to dive too deep, but that was. I was watching

290
00:12:46.000 --> 00:12:49.120
a financial political thing and a guy who's currently uh

291
00:12:49.159 --> 00:12:51.320
in some admin stuff, and he basically said, like I

292
00:12:51.440 --> 00:12:53.879
hire talkers because that's the future. Like if you can

293
00:12:53.919 --> 00:12:56.559
talk well and you can move the room, like I

294
00:12:56.600 --> 00:12:58.200
can feed you the right info and we can direct

295
00:12:58.200 --> 00:12:59.960
your places, which is just so true everywhere, right, Like

296
00:13:00.840 --> 00:13:03.000
if Sebos was bad with people, you wouldn't be runing

297
00:13:03.000 --> 00:13:04.879
our front desk. He's great with people. Say well, Kyle,

298
00:13:04.919 --> 00:13:07.960
like that's any job anywhere, Like your product is only

299
00:13:07.960 --> 00:13:10.159
as good as how you can communicate it, and so

300
00:13:10.279 --> 00:13:15.080
like for these people to be doctors and molecular veganism detoxifycation,

301
00:13:15.639 --> 00:13:17.879
but they can't express why it's cool or why you

302
00:13:17.879 --> 00:13:20.240
should actually do it, Like then I think they suck.

303
00:13:21.720 --> 00:13:24.279
I would one hundred percent agree that they suck. There

304
00:13:24.360 --> 00:13:29.000
wasn't anyone that moved the needle but for us, and

305
00:13:29.200 --> 00:13:31.399
and this is, you know, twelve years after the fact

306
00:13:31.399 --> 00:13:34.080
and all, but I don't I wouldn't have bought it

307
00:13:34.120 --> 00:13:34.639
then either.

308
00:13:34.960 --> 00:13:38.279
No, just trying to find a way to justify it.

309
00:13:38.279 --> 00:13:40.039
But I was just lying to myself.

310
00:13:39.799 --> 00:13:42.200
Fat, sick, and nearly dead to a better movie because

311
00:13:42.200 --> 00:13:44.200
they follow one guy's story. Again, it's not like a

312
00:13:44.240 --> 00:13:46.080
made up script of this chick hitting on a guy

313
00:13:46.080 --> 00:13:46.720
in the elevator.

314
00:13:46.840 --> 00:13:49.960
Just false accusations that all this stuff was cured, all

315
00:13:49.960 --> 00:13:51.600
these cancers were cured by vegetables.

316
00:13:51.720 --> 00:13:54.519
Yeah, it's like, what the actual Yeah, we're not.

317
00:13:54.480 --> 00:13:56.759
Going to talk about all the other procedures and chemo

318
00:13:56.840 --> 00:13:58.360
and all this other shit they probably did that you're

319
00:13:58.360 --> 00:13:59.360
just not talking about.

320
00:13:59.519 --> 00:14:05.000
Sometimes, so when you're a real expert, right the golden rules,

321
00:14:05.080 --> 00:14:07.000
like if you can explain it to a five year

322
00:14:07.039 --> 00:14:09.759
old or whatever, right that you can take something so complex,

323
00:14:09.799 --> 00:14:12.399
and you can. But the other issue with that is

324
00:14:12.440 --> 00:14:15.720
that if you're public and you only know so much,

325
00:14:15.799 --> 00:14:18.240
you can only describe it like a five year old. Yeah,

326
00:14:18.279 --> 00:14:20.799
So these guys literally said like, yeah, Cilantro goes through

327
00:14:20.840 --> 00:14:22.919
your gut and takes all the toxins on your gut.

328
00:14:23.000 --> 00:14:26.080
I'm like, I look, man, I'm not like a gut biologist,

329
00:14:26.159 --> 00:14:28.039
but like there's got to be something else there. Like

330
00:14:28.039 --> 00:14:30.639
it's not just like mopping the floor with my intestines

331
00:14:30.639 --> 00:14:32.360
and now I don't have cancer or I don't have

332
00:14:32.399 --> 00:14:33.679
mercury or I don't have whatever.

333
00:14:33.799 --> 00:14:34.639
It doesn't work like that.

334
00:14:34.840 --> 00:14:37.519
Yeah, Like there's just no way. And some of their

335
00:14:37.519 --> 00:14:40.679
stuff's fine, right, like, yeah, fibers probably underdone in America.

336
00:14:40.720 --> 00:14:42.480
Sugar's probably overdone in America.

337
00:14:42.600 --> 00:14:48.320
Like it was very fucking generic information, yeah, mixed with propaganda.

338
00:14:48.600 --> 00:14:51.519
I just the worst part is how the propaganda just flipped.

339
00:14:51.519 --> 00:14:53.440
I like felt it like I could hear dark music

340
00:14:53.720 --> 00:14:55.879
in my head because it really was like forty five

341
00:14:55.919 --> 00:14:58.080
minutes more than halfway through the movie, and then all

342
00:14:58.120 --> 00:15:02.200
of a sudden they're like vegetable, like the lights dim.

343
00:15:02.200 --> 00:15:04.679
Yeah yeah, and then you're like, okay, there's the cover.

344
00:15:04.799 --> 00:15:08.120
There's now there's the cover of the dock. Okay, now

345
00:15:08.320 --> 00:15:08.759
now I get.

346
00:15:08.799 --> 00:15:10.159
They don't even mention like protein.

347
00:15:10.960 --> 00:15:12.840
No, they don't think they've ever said the word protein.

348
00:15:12.919 --> 00:15:14.639
The guy did once in like a negative term in

349
00:15:14.679 --> 00:15:17.120
a way that guys like, yeah, we're just moving the

350
00:15:17.200 --> 00:15:22.200
scales of these calories protein. Yeah, yeah, not important. Mean,

351
00:15:22.200 --> 00:15:24.360
while they're all just fat blobs. Yeah, they're just all

352
00:15:24.399 --> 00:15:25.039
skinny fat.

353
00:15:25.159 --> 00:15:28.279
Yeah, that's exactly. None of them had any muscle mass

354
00:15:28.279 --> 00:15:28.799
of any kind.

355
00:15:29.000 --> 00:15:32.639
Yeah, he said high protein diets, low protein diets, high

356
00:15:32.639 --> 00:15:33.320
carb diets.

357
00:15:33.440 --> 00:15:35.639
Yeah, high fat fat is the devil.

358
00:15:35.759 --> 00:15:39.840
Yeah, yeah, I don't know, and I do get it

359
00:15:39.919 --> 00:15:43.120
right because the nineties again, yeah, it was like mainstream,

360
00:15:43.159 --> 00:15:47.320
mainstream government and vegetables when yeah, the government was pushing

361
00:15:47.720 --> 00:15:50.080
low fat shit on you. But like also they're they're

362
00:15:50.120 --> 00:15:53.519
like straight definitions were wrong. They're like, oh, anything like

363
00:15:53.600 --> 00:15:55.480
low fat has more sugar in it, which just is

364
00:15:55.519 --> 00:15:58.480
not true either, like by percentage. Yeah, because you took

365
00:15:58.519 --> 00:16:00.879
the fat out, but it's not like c real they

366
00:16:00.919 --> 00:16:03.480
took the fat out of wheat and added more sugar.

367
00:16:03.559 --> 00:16:06.559
They just added sugar. It's just fucking sugar wheat. Yeah,

368
00:16:06.600 --> 00:16:08.480
you know, Like but they made it seem like, oh,

369
00:16:08.600 --> 00:16:11.159
anything that says low fat is just it can also

370
00:16:11.240 --> 00:16:11.919
make you fatter.

371
00:16:12.000 --> 00:16:14.720
They said, right, they said that low fat and zero

372
00:16:14.840 --> 00:16:16.879
fat and zero sugar stuff.

373
00:16:16.559 --> 00:16:18.600
Makes you fatter, right, which is that's not true? Yeah,

374
00:16:18.600 --> 00:16:21.279
which is literally yeah, backwards, there's actually like a limit

375
00:16:21.360 --> 00:16:23.679
of how low your fat is that you can handle

376
00:16:23.720 --> 00:16:27.480
more sugar and carbs than without. Yeah, and I and

377
00:16:27.639 --> 00:16:29.759
pure calories. Obviously, where you're.

378
00:16:29.639 --> 00:16:32.240
Getting this this? Where are you getting this information? First off?

379
00:16:32.279 --> 00:16:35.120
And number two it's like, okay, yeah, maybe somebody that's

380
00:16:35.120 --> 00:16:38.440
already has an eating problem that likes diet stuff like

381
00:16:38.559 --> 00:16:41.039
that's that's maybe where they're getting that data, you know

382
00:16:41.080 --> 00:16:44.080
what I mean. But like, because the diet's drinks are sweeter,

383
00:16:44.440 --> 00:16:47.120
a lot of people that have sure sugar cravings or

384
00:16:47.159 --> 00:16:50.120
that have you know, eating problems, they tend to drink

385
00:16:50.159 --> 00:16:51.440
diets so because it's sweeter.

386
00:16:51.679 --> 00:16:53.679
Right. The part of the issue is that with all

387
00:16:53.759 --> 00:16:55.480
this stuff and it's gone on forever and it'll go

388
00:16:55.559 --> 00:16:58.200
on forever, is they don't isolate their actual argument. So

389
00:16:58.240 --> 00:17:02.200
they'll say people who switched to diet sodas gained more weight.

390
00:17:02.960 --> 00:17:05.000
And that may be true. I haven't looked at the stats.

391
00:17:05.039 --> 00:17:08.119
But you know why it's true is because they switched

392
00:17:08.119 --> 00:17:10.680
to diet soda, then they justified the ice cream Sunday,

393
00:17:10.839 --> 00:17:12.920
where before they'd have the regular soda and they wouldn't

394
00:17:12.960 --> 00:17:16.519
justify that extra large diet leader today I can have that, right,

395
00:17:16.640 --> 00:17:18.599
And that's that's just literally how it works. But the

396
00:17:18.680 --> 00:17:22.920
diet soda is, you know, again, correlation versus causation. They

397
00:17:22.920 --> 00:17:25.880
didn't mention any of that because they're probably not real scientists,

398
00:17:25.920 --> 00:17:28.039
Like they didn't dig into what actually is happening. They

399
00:17:28.039 --> 00:17:30.279
would state a fact like that and then move on.

400
00:17:30.359 --> 00:17:32.839
And then also they said some crazy stat like diet

401
00:17:33.079 --> 00:17:36.519
coke drinkers on average drink like three leaders a day

402
00:17:36.599 --> 00:17:39.000
or something. They like, if they drink diet sodas, it's

403
00:17:39.359 --> 00:17:41.640
average is three leaders. I'm like, bro, no, I drink

404
00:17:41.640 --> 00:17:42.559
a lot of diet shit.

405
00:17:43.160 --> 00:17:45.400
That's a lot of that's a lot of Yeah, that's

406
00:17:45.400 --> 00:17:46.640
a two and a half.

407
00:17:46.799 --> 00:17:47.599
Yeah, it's a lot.

408
00:17:48.279 --> 00:17:49.960
And get a pizza and a two leader for yourself

409
00:17:49.960 --> 00:17:51.039
and then drinking another half.

410
00:17:51.200 --> 00:17:53.440
Yeah, that's insane. I just don't get it. Yeah, I

411
00:17:53.480 --> 00:17:55.799
just don't get it. And obviously this is never gonna happen.

412
00:17:55.839 --> 00:18:01.200
But it's probably why podcasts and other mediums are more popular,

413
00:18:01.240 --> 00:18:03.359
because like, why can't we get two heads on there

414
00:18:03.400 --> 00:18:06.119
that don't agree? Can we just And even if you

415
00:18:06.160 --> 00:18:09.640
are propagandizing, like if you and you truly believe in

416
00:18:09.680 --> 00:18:12.279
what you're doing, I'm bringing at least one person. That's

417
00:18:12.279 --> 00:18:14.599
a counter argument because if I truly believe in what

418
00:18:14.640 --> 00:18:17.480
I'm doing. He's only gonna make me look more, right, Yeah, right, Like,

419
00:18:17.480 --> 00:18:20.680
if you're truthful about your you know, if you're real

420
00:18:20.680 --> 00:18:24.480
about your truths, you bring one motherfucker on there that disagrees,

421
00:18:24.519 --> 00:18:27.599
you bring a carnivore motherfucker on there, and you can

422
00:18:27.680 --> 00:18:28.279
find it.

423
00:18:28.279 --> 00:18:30.680
It was no dissent at all, and everybody was on

424
00:18:30.799 --> 00:18:32.119
the same weird page.

425
00:18:32.519 --> 00:18:33.920
And these are things.

426
00:18:33.920 --> 00:18:36.440
So these are the same fun things that we see

427
00:18:36.960 --> 00:18:41.079
on social media all the time now, yeah, stated as

428
00:18:41.200 --> 00:18:43.039
fact when they are not fact.

429
00:18:44.160 --> 00:18:45.200
Do you watch your selb us or not?

430
00:18:45.599 --> 00:18:45.880
No?

431
00:18:51.119 --> 00:18:52.839
Oh, I don't know if it text it to you, Yeah, don't,

432
00:18:53.079 --> 00:18:55.400
but I thought us because the lighting, like all of

433
00:18:55.400 --> 00:18:58.720
it does feel like a weird uh yeah, like not

434
00:18:58.759 --> 00:19:01.359
like a weird RELI just one like it really does

435
00:19:01.440 --> 00:19:02.839
kind of you know, the light's kind of weird.

436
00:19:02.880 --> 00:19:05.559
They're all sitting kind of weird. It does just feel

437
00:19:05.599 --> 00:19:06.480
kind of spooky.

438
00:19:08.240 --> 00:19:11.480
Have you ever walked past the Scientology one by Golden

439
00:19:11.519 --> 00:19:13.720
one the building? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, like you'll have like

440
00:19:13.720 --> 00:19:16.440
those videos just playing inside, like that's what they look like.

441
00:19:16.480 --> 00:19:20.359
Have you seen that? Going clear totally unrelated to the show,

442
00:19:20.359 --> 00:19:21.960
but we could do it going clear, you could do it?

443
00:19:22.079 --> 00:19:25.240
Yeah, good, I haven't seen it deep dive into a

444
00:19:25.279 --> 00:19:25.920
cult segment.

445
00:19:26.839 --> 00:19:29.119
It's deep dive into scientology. Oh we did the one

446
00:19:29.160 --> 00:19:30.920
cult the Fat Loss Colt. Yeah, that was good that

447
00:19:32.640 --> 00:19:35.799
we did The Lady in Tennessee that shamed people that

448
00:19:35.880 --> 00:19:39.759
God doesn't let you in heaven if you're fat like that. No,

449
00:19:39.839 --> 00:19:41.559
it's great. I bought the book right after.

450
00:19:43.640 --> 00:19:44.599
I can get behind that one.

451
00:19:44.599 --> 00:19:46.720
Now. The scientology one's pretty good because they grab a

452
00:19:47.160 --> 00:19:53.000
who's the red headed lady? So Tom Cruise obviously Travolta,

453
00:19:53.079 --> 00:19:55.279
but there's a redheaded lady who was kind of a comedian.

454
00:19:55.440 --> 00:19:56.440
Oh she like got out?

455
00:19:56.559 --> 00:20:00.599
Yeah, I want she does a lot the interviews.

456
00:20:00.680 --> 00:20:01.559
Okay, I saw that.

457
00:20:01.599 --> 00:20:03.160
Yeah, I did see that. Kelsey was watching that.

458
00:20:03.359 --> 00:20:07.079
It's because you see a real insider that like got out. Yeah,

459
00:20:07.160 --> 00:20:08.680
you know, because a lot of these cold stuff you'll

460
00:20:08.680 --> 00:20:10.640
just be seeing from the outside and you don't really know.

461
00:20:10.759 --> 00:20:11.799
This lady's letting you know.

462
00:20:12.119 --> 00:20:14.079
She's the wife and the what's that king?

463
00:20:14.400 --> 00:20:14.960
Some sitcom?

464
00:20:15.039 --> 00:20:17.039
Ra king of what's the King of It?

465
00:20:17.240 --> 00:20:19.880
Not King of the Hill king, a queen king.

466
00:20:19.680 --> 00:20:23.400
A queen Queen's Yeah, she got out barely. Yeah, and

467
00:20:23.480 --> 00:20:25.720
then I started exposing everybody. Yeah, you guys ever heard

468
00:20:25.759 --> 00:20:28.759
of Braille skateboards? Remember like the YouTube channel Brail. Yeah,

469
00:20:29.160 --> 00:20:32.759
you'd watch that documentary on that guy about Scientist recently

470
00:20:32.759 --> 00:20:34.920
came out right, Yeah, yeaheah, it was. I watched the

471
00:20:34.960 --> 00:20:38.799
whole thing. He apparently got wrapped up in the started

472
00:20:38.799 --> 00:20:41.720
climbing the ranks big time in Scientology and like destroying

473
00:20:41.759 --> 00:20:42.839
the brand, got destroyed.

474
00:20:43.000 --> 00:20:43.799
Was it worth a bunch of money?

475
00:20:43.839 --> 00:20:45.519
He was spending all this, all the money from the

476
00:20:45.519 --> 00:20:48.279
company into the Scientology, all the all the courses you

477
00:20:48.319 --> 00:20:50.039
got to take that are like two hundred g's to

478
00:20:50.279 --> 00:20:51.119
get your level three.

479
00:20:51.279 --> 00:20:52.640
Yeah, yeah, you literally level up.

480
00:20:52.720 --> 00:20:54.759
Yeah, and it's all pay to play on the level ups.

481
00:20:54.960 --> 00:20:55.119
Yeah.

482
00:20:55.160 --> 00:20:58.519
And then he became like some like high profile dude

483
00:20:58.559 --> 00:21:01.839
and like the LA chapter of Scientology now and the

484
00:21:01.880 --> 00:21:04.519
whole thing. It's a crazy You grew up watching those.

485
00:21:04.559 --> 00:21:08.480
Iran Iron Hubbard l Ron Lron l l Ron l

486
00:21:08.559 --> 00:21:11.960
Rond is the elfin in Lron and l Ron Hubbard

487
00:21:12.160 --> 00:21:16.319
l Ron, So I think the L is an initial.

488
00:21:16.160 --> 00:21:18.000
Was Samuel ll in Scientology too.

489
00:21:18.039 --> 00:21:20.079
Donald bring, don't bring my guy in there. I thought

490
00:21:20.079 --> 00:21:23.319
he was I don't know. I hope not Samuel L. Jackson.

491
00:21:23.440 --> 00:21:25.400
I don't think, so, don't bring my guy in there.

492
00:21:25.400 --> 00:21:26.079
Thought he wasn't.

493
00:21:26.240 --> 00:21:30.240
Don't defame us. Maybe maybe not, motherfucker.

494
00:21:30.880 --> 00:21:36.640
Scientology, motherfucker anyway, one more time.

495
00:21:38.039 --> 00:21:39.599
He's good, bro, sam Samuel is good.

496
00:21:39.640 --> 00:21:39.680
No.

497
00:21:39.799 --> 00:21:42.000
I think the main ones are Yeah, are Travolta, right

498
00:21:42.039 --> 00:21:44.680
Travolta and oh maybe that makes sense because they are homies.

499
00:21:46.000 --> 00:21:46.400
I don't know.

500
00:21:46.480 --> 00:21:48.599
They just grabbed everyone from pull fiction and just it

501
00:21:48.640 --> 00:21:51.960
seems like the Cruise one still doesn't really make sense

502
00:21:53.519 --> 00:21:54.720
other than a good actor.

503
00:21:54.759 --> 00:21:56.519
Well, I think they just put him to level fifteen.

504
00:21:56.559 --> 00:21:58.400
I think they speed run him to the top and

505
00:21:58.400 --> 00:21:59.759
then he's probably on some power trips.

506
00:21:59.759 --> 00:21:59.920
Shit.

507
00:22:00.839 --> 00:22:02.680
That's how that I remember going clear kind of talked

508
00:22:02.720 --> 00:22:04.240
about it where she even said like she had a

509
00:22:04.279 --> 00:22:05.920
like digg her way through, you know, the ranks, and

510
00:22:05.960 --> 00:22:08.079
like Tom's up there, so like I think he just

511
00:22:08.319 --> 00:22:10.319
was VP and did what the fuck he wanted. You know,

512
00:22:10.680 --> 00:22:12.480
I don't even know if, like I don't quote because

513
00:22:12.440 --> 00:22:13.799
I haven't seen the movie a long time, but I

514
00:22:13.799 --> 00:22:15.599
think she even talked about him not spending as much

515
00:22:15.599 --> 00:22:17.640
as others because he's already like they just used him

516
00:22:17.680 --> 00:22:19.160
as the guy. You know, they're like, oh, that's our

517
00:22:19.200 --> 00:22:23.920
market recruiter. Yeah, that's our marketing, little five foot three Tommy. Yeah,

518
00:22:23.960 --> 00:22:26.920
little Tom, Little Tom, Little Tom. The Scientologists little.

519
00:22:26.759 --> 00:22:28.640
Thomas what what do you know? What the name of

520
00:22:28.680 --> 00:22:31.119
that the skateboard Scientology?

521
00:22:31.279 --> 00:22:33.359
I'll have to find it. But it was fantastic.

522
00:22:34.119 --> 00:22:36.039
Is it mostly about Scientology or the brand?

523
00:22:36.480 --> 00:22:39.279
It's barely about the brand, but it's all about his

524
00:22:40.119 --> 00:22:42.119
what he did with I guess it is about the brand,

525
00:22:42.119 --> 00:22:44.680
but the whole through line is about the Scientology and

526
00:22:44.680 --> 00:22:47.559
what it did when he started getting all this money

527
00:22:47.599 --> 00:22:50.039
and all this fame on from the channel and then

528
00:22:50.240 --> 00:22:53.039
his whole collapse because of the Scientology. Does he take

529
00:22:53.039 --> 00:22:55.279
interviews or kind of like an Icarus vibe or so, yeah,

530
00:22:55.319 --> 00:22:56.839
you know, not really, but like also.

531
00:22:56.680 --> 00:22:58.640
Yeah, does he take interviews in it? Or no? No,

532
00:22:58.720 --> 00:23:01.000
I don't know because he's still even he's still wrapped up.

533
00:23:01.039 --> 00:23:03.119
Yeah, it's made my third party if someone else made this.

534
00:23:03.400 --> 00:23:06.200
Made by his brother. Yeah, Scientology is a weird one.

535
00:23:06.319 --> 00:23:07.839
And again, I don't know a ton. I've only seen

536
00:23:07.880 --> 00:23:09.519
a couple of dogs because I've seen a couple others.

537
00:23:09.720 --> 00:23:13.000
But it seems like it's not that family oriented because

538
00:23:13.000 --> 00:23:14.720
it's so crazy, like you know, if I go in,

539
00:23:14.799 --> 00:23:16.920
it's not like your homies just going with you, you

540
00:23:16.960 --> 00:23:18.880
know where other religions would just tend to be like that.

541
00:23:19.039 --> 00:23:21.920
You know, your whole family's Catholic, girl family is Jewish.

542
00:23:21.920 --> 00:23:24.279
But yeah, you know a lot of people they get

543
00:23:24.400 --> 00:23:25.799
separated from their family because of it.

544
00:23:25.880 --> 00:23:28.559
Yah, which just is like clear cult sign right like.

545
00:23:28.799 --> 00:23:30.920
You gotta several times essentially, No.

546
00:23:31.079 --> 00:23:32.960
It is interesting in going clicks they talk about like

547
00:23:33.000 --> 00:23:36.039
his fucking like the truth machine or some shit like

548
00:23:36.119 --> 00:23:38.359
it's basically like a Catholic confession, except you're on this

549
00:23:38.480 --> 00:23:43.079
machine or something that's all. It's machines like reading your bulse.

550
00:23:43.119 --> 00:23:45.039
It's like the electric machine that you do like the

551
00:23:45.240 --> 00:23:48.680
County Fair. Remember it looks like Kennedy Voults.

552
00:23:48.680 --> 00:23:49.160
Can you handle?

553
00:23:49.200 --> 00:23:50.960
They do that right? And then they're like saying words

554
00:23:51.039 --> 00:23:52.680
or something. You got to like confess or some shit

555
00:23:52.759 --> 00:23:53.599
like you tell them.

556
00:23:53.480 --> 00:23:55.160
You have a high have a high frequency.

557
00:23:55.200 --> 00:23:58.000
He has an aura meter something it is aura meter.

558
00:23:59.640 --> 00:24:03.720
Shark How silent Toelogy destroyed? A popular skateboarding channel is

559
00:24:03.759 --> 00:24:04.880
a YouTube video.

560
00:24:05.000 --> 00:24:07.480
Yes, it's on YouTube. I watched it on YouTube it's

561
00:24:07.480 --> 00:24:10.640
done pretty good. Yeah, it was done really good. How

562
00:24:10.640 --> 00:24:13.559
many how long is it? How many views?

563
00:24:13.640 --> 00:24:18.599
So she said it was a question. It's for over

564
00:24:18.680 --> 00:24:19.559
four million views.

565
00:24:19.799 --> 00:24:22.200
That's probably the one that probably, Yeah, it's pretty good.

566
00:24:23.759 --> 00:24:25.240
What's the thumbnail.

567
00:24:26.480 --> 00:24:28.319
Tom Cruise doing a kick flip?

568
00:24:29.279 --> 00:24:32.880
I'm getting so much hit in the fifty to fifty?

569
00:24:34.440 --> 00:24:35.200
Did it look like that?

570
00:24:36.359 --> 00:24:36.839
Is that him?

571
00:24:36.920 --> 00:24:39.960
Pretty sure? Yeah? Yeah, that's it. That's gotta be it. Yep,

572
00:24:40.039 --> 00:24:40.519
that's the one.

573
00:24:40.680 --> 00:24:42.079
Damn. I don't know if I've heard of broil maybe

574
00:24:42.119 --> 00:24:42.839
if so.

575
00:24:42.880 --> 00:24:45.680
They basically he started out by he started like the

576
00:24:45.720 --> 00:24:48.359
two total how to Kickflip like on YouTube. He was

577
00:24:48.400 --> 00:24:50.519
like he got on YouTube like when it first launched,

578
00:24:51.240 --> 00:24:54.000
he was an og YouTuber and he was like og

579
00:24:54.200 --> 00:24:57.359
two tural on you. And then he did a brand

580
00:24:57.640 --> 00:25:00.319
and then they started that series like uh, will it

581
00:25:00.400 --> 00:25:02.559
skate and then like they would make skateboard. They put

582
00:25:02.559 --> 00:25:04.480
skateboard wheels like on a fucking water bottle in time

583
00:25:04.559 --> 00:25:06.839
do a kick flip and then that shit was smart yeah,

584
00:25:06.839 --> 00:25:08.119
and then they blew the fuck up.

585
00:25:08.359 --> 00:25:11.720
The one you know, Donut operator is a donut operator

586
00:25:11.759 --> 00:25:15.079
Donut Media. Now he's donut operator. He was like a

587
00:25:15.119 --> 00:25:18.400
military cat and so he kind of does content like that,

588
00:25:18.440 --> 00:25:20.240
but then he mostly vlogs, but he's a skater, and

589
00:25:20.240 --> 00:25:21.599
so he just opened a skate shop with all like

590
00:25:21.640 --> 00:25:22.400
his YouTube money.

591
00:25:22.759 --> 00:25:25.319
Yeah, they opened up like a full on like fun fact,

592
00:25:25.359 --> 00:25:27.319
like a fantasy factory, and they had like all the

593
00:25:27.359 --> 00:25:29.119
ship and then there was other guys that were on

594
00:25:29.160 --> 00:25:31.640
payroll that would do the skits and the videos and

595
00:25:32.079 --> 00:25:33.839
they'd place you know, they would do a surfboard. They

596
00:25:33.839 --> 00:25:37.920
turn a surfboard into a skateboard pricing clip. I'm sure

597
00:25:37.920 --> 00:25:40.079
you've seen it, Yeah, a million times. I do colts

598
00:25:40.200 --> 00:25:41.680
do interest me pretty good? I mean think I got

599
00:25:41.720 --> 00:25:43.720
videos with like twenty million views, you know what I mean.

600
00:25:43.720 --> 00:25:44.799
It was fucking huge.

601
00:25:45.359 --> 00:25:46.359
This is kind of interesting.

602
00:25:46.400 --> 00:25:51.160
There are two two YouTube videos on the same topic.

603
00:25:51.759 --> 00:25:55.160
One from a year ago it is called Aaron Cairo

604
00:25:55.279 --> 00:25:58.759
and the Rise and Fall of Braille Skateboard that's I saw.

605
00:25:58.799 --> 00:26:00.200
And then the more recent one.

606
00:26:00.759 --> 00:26:03.519
It only has three hundred and thirty five thousand views,

607
00:26:03.880 --> 00:26:06.440
though the more recent one has four million views.

608
00:26:07.279 --> 00:26:09.480
So this is a question. I'm down to two.

609
00:26:10.000 --> 00:26:11.799
I think I watched the Rise and Fall one. That

610
00:26:11.839 --> 00:26:13.240
one sounds like the one I watched.

611
00:26:13.880 --> 00:26:15.799
Do we can google to or like, see which one.

612
00:26:15.880 --> 00:26:17.319
I'll take your peek at it and I'll be able

613
00:26:17.359 --> 00:26:19.799
to tell which one you watched and see we'll forgure

614
00:26:19.839 --> 00:26:22.519
out which one is which was the right length.

615
00:26:22.319 --> 00:26:24.039
For us psychology and sports man.

616
00:26:24.240 --> 00:26:25.960
But yeah, I know I agree that there is.

617
00:26:26.079 --> 00:26:29.279
But this is like true of people who just get

618
00:26:29.319 --> 00:26:31.799
into dieting or just to get into exercise or just

619
00:26:31.839 --> 00:26:35.839
screening to one a sport or another whatever. As an adult,

620
00:26:36.240 --> 00:26:40.240
they they they turn it into their religion. Yeah, the

621
00:26:40.319 --> 00:26:42.519
identity in the same way that the people who get

622
00:26:42.559 --> 00:26:44.160
into religion turn it into religion.

623
00:26:44.319 --> 00:26:46.240
Yeah, we made fund of powerlifters the same way, but

624
00:26:46.279 --> 00:26:49.680
it's it's not as heavy but early CrossFit right, like

625
00:26:49.720 --> 00:26:51.640
the joke like can't be around it. How do you

626
00:26:51.680 --> 00:26:53.559
know you're around a crossfitter? Like oh he mentioned it

627
00:26:53.559 --> 00:26:55.799
in the first ten seconds or whatever one says about

628
00:26:55.839 --> 00:26:57.640
carnivore or vegans.

629
00:26:58.839 --> 00:26:59.319
These problems.

630
00:26:59.400 --> 00:27:01.480
Yeah, some of that, like some of that is just

631
00:27:01.480 --> 00:27:05.160
like yeah, true, uh, some of that's just uh people

632
00:27:05.240 --> 00:27:09.319
just like not spending time alone, like like zero self awareness.

633
00:27:09.319 --> 00:27:11.559
Like if you have to like attach your identity so

634
00:27:11.839 --> 00:27:14.839
tight to something and I understand it, man, Like yeah,

635
00:27:14.839 --> 00:27:18.319
like I played basketball for sixteen years every single day,

636
00:27:18.680 --> 00:27:20.799
you know, like that's still part of what I love

637
00:27:20.880 --> 00:27:23.039
and still a part of me. But like, yeah, I

638
00:27:23.039 --> 00:27:25.519
don't have to have it in my Instagram bio. You know,

639
00:27:25.559 --> 00:27:27.240
I don't have to have my stats up on my

640
00:27:27.279 --> 00:27:30.240
story like you just I don't have to be insulted

641
00:27:30.279 --> 00:27:33.759
when you know says he likes baseball better than basketball.

642
00:27:33.519 --> 00:27:35.759
Nine for twelve at the park today.

643
00:27:35.759 --> 00:27:39.480
Three Yeah, and then you put it in your ig handle. Yeah,

644
00:27:39.480 --> 00:27:41.039
it's just so wester nine for twelve.

645
00:27:41.119 --> 00:27:44.039
But that's literally how that's how people do from three

646
00:27:45.000 --> 00:27:46.279
and that's how they do it. And then they go

647
00:27:46.319 --> 00:27:48.720
on like missions to recruit basketball players. They go on

648
00:27:48.839 --> 00:27:51.200
missions to recruit you know, like especially in our day,

649
00:27:51.279 --> 00:27:54.680
like how the battle between CrossFit, weightlifting, power lifting, and

650
00:27:54.680 --> 00:27:57.519
strong man there's like a legitimate like civil war. They

651
00:27:57.559 --> 00:27:59.920
hated each other. Yeah, like for a second, They're like

652
00:28:00.039 --> 00:28:02.039
they were literally talk shit on each other, like and

653
00:28:02.240 --> 00:28:04.279
they were like dead series. I'm like, dude, weird.

654
00:28:05.400 --> 00:28:07.359
That's why Kevin Keels is so cool. It was cool

655
00:28:07.440 --> 00:28:09.480
because we would have all those again at the same time.

656
00:28:09.559 --> 00:28:11.920
Yeah, and it kind of brought that together. I feel

657
00:28:11.920 --> 00:28:14.839
like ice around here. No, for sure, and eventually eventually

658
00:28:14.839 --> 00:28:16.920
they all got along and whatever, and the here was

659
00:28:16.960 --> 00:28:18.759
always cool, you know, like we've always been friends with

660
00:28:18.839 --> 00:28:22.680
Ben and the weightlifting side, because yeah, you one person

661
00:28:22.720 --> 00:28:24.279
tried to go do the other person's sport and you're

662
00:28:24.279 --> 00:28:26.599
gonna suck, you know what I mean. Like that, it's

663
00:28:26.640 --> 00:28:28.960
just gonna happen. Like even strong Man, Like a lot

664
00:28:28.960 --> 00:28:32.720
of times strongmen sucked at benching powers. Whoop that ass,

665
00:28:32.759 --> 00:28:36.359
you know, like, uh, they're squatting. Even squatting seems to

666
00:28:36.359 --> 00:28:37.960
be a little bit more popular and strong man now,

667
00:28:38.000 --> 00:28:40.119
but the same thing, like, yeah, weight lift their squad

668
00:28:40.160 --> 00:28:42.160
a lot, but like you come in deadlift with us,

669
00:28:42.160 --> 00:28:43.759
you're done. And then a power lift to go try

670
00:28:43.799 --> 00:28:46.880
to do anything overhead, they're done. You know, Like, uh,

671
00:28:47.279 --> 00:28:49.720
it's just weird. It's just a weird identity and it's

672
00:28:49.759 --> 00:28:52.440
just becoming more and more apparent in America. For for anything.

673
00:28:52.680 --> 00:28:55.440
Politics is the same way they they're they're raising their

674
00:28:55.480 --> 00:29:00.240
fucking party like it's their fucking team flag that they

675
00:29:00.319 --> 00:29:01.880
even that. You know, you could argue it is weird,

676
00:29:01.920 --> 00:29:03.839
but like at least it's like more innocent when you're

677
00:29:03.960 --> 00:29:06.000
you know, your dad went to university of Georgia. You

678
00:29:06.039 --> 00:29:09.039
played football, They're like, all right, man, we're a fucking Bulldogs.

679
00:29:08.519 --> 00:29:12.000
Team politics, like your identity, Like that's everyone. We're a fucking.

680
00:29:11.720 --> 00:29:14.599
Loser, but that's fucking everyone, dude. And they won't make friends,

681
00:29:14.640 --> 00:29:16.920
they won't do this, like and even the sports, at

682
00:29:17.000 --> 00:29:21.359
least the sports is like semi friendly, you know, like,

683
00:29:21.400 --> 00:29:23.359
no one's really gonna kick out their cousin if they're

684
00:29:23.359 --> 00:29:25.000
a Florida fan and you're a Georgia fan.

685
00:29:25.200 --> 00:29:27.720
Well we can say that because we're in California. Maybe,

686
00:29:27.759 --> 00:29:29.279
but I grew up, I grew up in the city's

687
00:29:29.319 --> 00:29:29.839
other states.

688
00:29:29.880 --> 00:29:30.920
But that's my whole family.

689
00:29:31.359 --> 00:29:33.960
Dude. If I grew up in like Ohio or something, Dude,

690
00:29:34.000 --> 00:29:36.920
I would I would be probably super into it, knowing myself.

691
00:29:37.000 --> 00:29:39.079
No, I love getting behind something. No, but they're about

692
00:29:39.119 --> 00:29:41.799
it like so so same thing. I think we were talking, Like, uh,

693
00:29:41.799 --> 00:29:44.400
some of my whole family's Catholic. They most from Italian,

694
00:29:44.440 --> 00:29:46.680
grew up in Ohio and Ohio State. I mentioned this

695
00:29:46.720 --> 00:29:48.720
many times with the podcast. It is different. You drive

696
00:29:48.759 --> 00:29:51.759
through any suburb of Cleveland, not avoidable. I've driven through

697
00:29:51.799 --> 00:29:55.640
them all and every house has a Browns, Uh, Indians

698
00:29:55.759 --> 00:29:59.119
or a Buckeye's flag on their fucking porch every single

699
00:29:59.279 --> 00:30:02.200
fucking house. Like if you're stuck in traffic here, you

700
00:30:02.240 --> 00:30:04.960
might see one king sticker, you know, like the state

701
00:30:05.000 --> 00:30:08.359
sticking right every single fucking house. But if you're Catholic

702
00:30:08.440 --> 00:30:09.839
and you grow up in the Midwest, you're also a

703
00:30:09.920 --> 00:30:12.400
Notre Dame fan. And we'll be watching Notre Dame play

704
00:30:12.400 --> 00:30:15.240
Ohio and you know someone's gonna joke bicker, but it's

705
00:30:15.240 --> 00:30:17.359
not that real. But if you did that, if we

706
00:30:17.400 --> 00:30:20.039
did that around the fucking debates, there's gonna be a

707
00:30:20.079 --> 00:30:22.960
fight broken out, Like someone's gonna like kick you out

708
00:30:23.000 --> 00:30:25.039
of the family, yeah, you know. Or if you do

709
00:30:25.200 --> 00:30:29.640
that right, or a carnivore vegan party, they're literally gonna fight.

710
00:30:29.839 --> 00:30:30.920
They're literally gonna fight.

711
00:30:31.400 --> 00:30:32.839
I'm still waiting on you know, what is it twenty

712
00:30:32.880 --> 00:30:36.319
twenty five, I'm still waiting on the lifetime vegan Like

713
00:30:37.039 --> 00:30:41.240
top of the class athlete, where is it? There should

714
00:30:41.240 --> 00:30:43.119
be a live by now, they should.

715
00:30:42.839 --> 00:30:45.000
Be Like the early twenties, that was a game changer, right,

716
00:30:45.039 --> 00:30:47.160
you get boners and playing the NFL when you eat

717
00:30:47.200 --> 00:30:49.359
veggie burritos, it was a study live on the If

718
00:30:49.359 --> 00:30:50.720
you did that one with us too, didn't you.

719
00:30:51.440 --> 00:30:51.720
Yeah.

720
00:30:51.839 --> 00:30:56.200
They literally like put the girth like condom measurement tool

721
00:30:56.240 --> 00:30:59.319
on these college players, which is fucking you don't remember that.

722
00:31:00.200 --> 00:31:03.480
So they had these college kids talk about vegan propaganda.

723
00:31:03.480 --> 00:31:05.480
They have these college kids literally put on like it

724
00:31:05.480 --> 00:31:08.160
looked like a dick ring and not that I would

725
00:31:08.160 --> 00:31:08.319
know that.

726
00:31:08.480 --> 00:31:09.559
Oh I remember that.

727
00:31:09.799 --> 00:31:12.319
And it had a sensor that measured how ring was

728
00:31:12.359 --> 00:31:15.039
the your your how girth you would get, how girth

729
00:31:15.039 --> 00:31:16.400
you would get. And they had to meet a steak

730
00:31:16.440 --> 00:31:19.519
burrito one night and then measured their morning wood. And

731
00:31:19.559 --> 00:31:21.519
then the next day they had a veggie burrito at

732
00:31:21.519 --> 00:31:23.960
dinner and measured their morning wood. And your dick was

733
00:31:24.079 --> 00:31:26.480
they said, some crazy number, you know, thirty bigger and

734
00:31:26.559 --> 00:31:28.079
white and the.

735
00:31:29.640 --> 00:31:30.200
Dusted it all.

736
00:31:30.440 --> 00:31:32.880
Yeah. With cilantro, that cleans the detox.

737
00:31:33.400 --> 00:31:33.759
Yeah.

738
00:31:33.880 --> 00:31:36.359
All I can tell you about cilantro that everyone learned

739
00:31:36.359 --> 00:31:40.160
recently is chop up the stems and include them because I.

740
00:31:40.119 --> 00:31:40.720
Always do that.

741
00:31:40.799 --> 00:31:41.799
Yeah, that's where the flavor is.

742
00:31:42.000 --> 00:31:44.480
Everybody did that, No, the soap flavor.

743
00:31:44.720 --> 00:31:47.359
Yeah only for some, Yeah, only for some. That's a

744
00:31:47.400 --> 00:31:48.000
genetic thing.

745
00:31:48.160 --> 00:31:50.640
Yeah. This girl that worked with us, Caitlyn, she would

746
00:31:50.720 --> 00:31:52.960
she hate cilantro because she she had that. It's like,

747
00:31:52.960 --> 00:31:55.240
I taste like dial It's like what delicious.

748
00:31:56.440 --> 00:31:57.640
One of my sons has that.

749
00:31:57.640 --> 00:32:00.880
That's asparagus. To rate asparagus everyone's he smells, but only

750
00:32:00.920 --> 00:32:02.160
some people smell it.

751
00:32:02.240 --> 00:32:06.119
Oh weird, Yeah, dude, I eat asparagus. My next piss reeks.

752
00:32:06.519 --> 00:32:09.240
Yeah, it's just your It's just your nose. Isn't that crazy?

753
00:32:09.559 --> 00:32:10.920
It's not coming out of the urine.

754
00:32:11.079 --> 00:32:12.880
Is it is? It is? But it comes out of

755
00:32:12.920 --> 00:32:15.880
everyone's urine. Got only some noses detected, which is crazy.

756
00:32:16.319 --> 00:32:17.880
So if we found someone without that and they smell

757
00:32:17.960 --> 00:32:19.640
your pee, they think your piss would be great.

758
00:32:20.279 --> 00:32:20.920
That's interesting.

759
00:32:21.039 --> 00:32:24.720
Yeah, that's crazy. That's some matrix stuff that's unplugged matri.

760
00:32:25.200 --> 00:32:27.039
It's a little bit of I don't like that.

761
00:32:27.039 --> 00:32:28.240
That's a little bit of a mind battle.

762
00:32:28.240 --> 00:32:31.200
I thought I'm being in public only I can smell

763
00:32:31.279 --> 00:32:32.160
my asparagus.

764
00:32:32.559 --> 00:32:36.759
Well, yeah, other other people that are able. I don't

765
00:32:36.759 --> 00:32:38.559
know what the percent is, but there is a chance

766
00:32:38.559 --> 00:32:40.519
you're in a public urinal and no one else smells

767
00:32:40.519 --> 00:32:41.400
your crazy piss.

768
00:32:41.200 --> 00:32:43.880
But you I'm there and I'm for sure smelling.

769
00:32:43.920 --> 00:32:46.400
Yeah, there's a chance, but I swear my genetics change

770
00:32:46.400 --> 00:32:48.400
because I heard that as a kid and I never

771
00:32:48.440 --> 00:32:54.039
smelt it, and then now I smell it. Yeah maybe, yeah, epigenetics.

772
00:32:54.039 --> 00:32:55.880
That's some of those weird perceptions. I had so much

773
00:32:55.920 --> 00:32:58.680
asparagus in my life. I just changed my snaws. Doesn't

774
00:32:58.680 --> 00:33:01.359
smell anyone, No, now it does, but for it here's

775
00:33:01.400 --> 00:33:03.359
a kid. I always heard that, like joke or whatever.

776
00:33:04.400 --> 00:33:09.960
Man especially like like grilled or like over spurgus could

777
00:33:10.000 --> 00:33:13.759
go to over game over vegetables. I eat well.

778
00:33:14.200 --> 00:33:18.759
Speaking speaking of vegetables, what are the positives that came

779
00:33:18.799 --> 00:33:19.400
out of this thing?

780
00:33:19.480 --> 00:33:19.960
Like? What?

781
00:33:19.960 --> 00:33:22.759
What things? Could we agree with? Much?

782
00:33:22.799 --> 00:33:23.119
Sugar?

783
00:33:23.240 --> 00:33:26.839
Yeah, Americas can process sugar is probably high. Processed anything

784
00:33:26.960 --> 00:33:30.039
is probably high. Additives are probably high.

785
00:33:29.720 --> 00:33:31.440
All that everybody knows already.

786
00:33:31.599 --> 00:33:34.359
The thing about processed foods, it isn't so much what

787
00:33:34.400 --> 00:33:37.759
they're made of, it's how it's how tasty they are.

788
00:33:37.799 --> 00:33:42.200
It's how palatable they are, so people people over eat them.

789
00:33:42.200 --> 00:33:45.200
I don't know that there's any like food ingredient thing

790
00:33:45.279 --> 00:33:48.119
that's such a problem really to me. It's a it's

791
00:33:48.119 --> 00:33:51.200
a priority list. I think there probably is a lot

792
00:33:51.240 --> 00:33:53.440
of stuff in there that's not good, but that's like

793
00:33:53.759 --> 00:33:56.759
top of the pyramid for America's problems. Right, So if

794
00:33:56.799 --> 00:34:00.640
you're eating enough, like proper amounts, if you're drinking enough water,

795
00:34:00.680 --> 00:34:03.240
if you're sleeping enough, and you're training enough. Now we

796
00:34:03.240 --> 00:34:05.039
can look at the top of the pyramid, like, all right,

797
00:34:05.279 --> 00:34:08.239
should I have X y z ingredient red forty in

798
00:34:08.320 --> 00:34:08.880
my soda?

799
00:34:09.000 --> 00:34:11.840
Probably not. That's another thing for America where everyone's fat

800
00:34:11.840 --> 00:34:14.639
as shit, sits on the couch, doesn't lift weights, doesn't

801
00:34:14.679 --> 00:34:17.639
drink water, doesn't eat protein, doesn't eat fiber. Like, yeah,

802
00:34:17.639 --> 00:34:19.480
we don't got to worry about red seven because people

803
00:34:19.519 --> 00:34:20.920
that's the joke all the time too, right, where a

804
00:34:20.960 --> 00:34:22.960
meathead or something. It happens to me all the time.

805
00:34:23.199 --> 00:34:24.599
Go out to eat with some homies and I have

806
00:34:24.599 --> 00:34:27.559
a diet soda and a fucking really well balanced meal

807
00:34:28.000 --> 00:34:30.960
and they're talking shit on my diet soda. That night

808
00:34:31.000 --> 00:34:33.199
they went out and did cocaine and beer and they're

809
00:34:33.199 --> 00:34:36.599
having pizza and whatever. But it's my diet soda, right,

810
00:34:36.679 --> 00:34:38.840
So problem to me, Like, I think the additives and

811
00:34:38.880 --> 00:34:42.239
stuff probably are an issue, but that's a battle for

812
00:34:42.320 --> 00:34:44.320
someone who's already got their shit together, right. That's the

813
00:34:44.360 --> 00:34:46.760
same thing people talking about bitcoin and investing and all that,

814
00:34:46.800 --> 00:34:49.840
like you gotta you know, you gotta stop spending money

815
00:34:49.880 --> 00:34:52.400
on sneakers every day, Like, let's not buy the new.

816
00:34:52.239 --> 00:34:54.760
Supreme worry about when I'm I'm putting my money into

817
00:34:55.039 --> 00:34:58.119
meme coins when you're just buying shoes at are worthless?

818
00:34:58.199 --> 00:35:00.280
Right or that? Yeah, the cigarette talks the same thing

819
00:35:00.320 --> 00:35:02.440
that whatever. Yeah, you're worried about your budget, but you're

820
00:35:02.440 --> 00:35:04.360
buying a thirty dollars coffee every day, like, well, we

821
00:35:04.400 --> 00:35:06.679
gotta we gotta finance this first, then we can go

822
00:35:06.719 --> 00:35:09.079
worry about how to make that money work.

823
00:35:09.119 --> 00:35:11.639
But I'm broken. You did you just come back from Hawaiian?

824
00:35:11.719 --> 00:35:14.280
Yeah? Right? How many vacas have you taken any year?

825
00:35:14.360 --> 00:35:15.280
And then you're gonna you know.

826
00:35:15.639 --> 00:35:20.639
And it's also the dose makes the poison for sure additives.

827
00:35:20.239 --> 00:35:25.239
And and they're in their very generic take on hey

828
00:35:25.280 --> 00:35:26.360
sleep is important.

829
00:35:26.639 --> 00:35:28.000
Yeah, yeah, it's crazy.

830
00:35:27.920 --> 00:35:30.079
Oh weird Okay, Yeah I didn't know that either.

831
00:35:30.320 --> 00:35:30.840
Yeah.

832
00:35:30.920 --> 00:35:33.440
And and there's a whole thing in the end about

833
00:35:33.440 --> 00:35:35.679
self love that doesn't talk about masturbation at all.

834
00:35:35.760 --> 00:35:37.000
So I was disappointed that's.

835
00:35:36.840 --> 00:35:39.440
The cure for restless legs off?

836
00:35:39.679 --> 00:35:44.559
Yeah, what are you a doctor? Now? Some saying.

837
00:35:45.800 --> 00:35:47.599
No, but if you have, If you have, it's it's

838
00:35:47.679 --> 00:35:50.320
very well documented and prescribed as I could.

839
00:35:50.360 --> 00:35:52.920
Well, then how is that illegal? Well what do you mean, Well,

840
00:35:52.920 --> 00:35:56.559
not masturbating, But why can't I get a little help assistance,

841
00:35:56.719 --> 00:35:57.519
medical assistance?

842
00:35:57.559 --> 00:35:59.960
Oh oh oh oh, I got like a like a

843
00:36:00.079 --> 00:36:02.360
massage parlor, or I got it.

844
00:36:02.360 --> 00:36:05.320
Seems good if you got restless leg syndrome. What was

845
00:36:05.360 --> 00:36:08.679
another documentary we saw? Maybe it's a podcast I read

846
00:36:08.920 --> 00:36:11.679
or was watching and it was a PhD. And who knows, right,

847
00:36:11.679 --> 00:36:13.559
because white cobia's crazy, but I'm pretty sure was a

848
00:36:13.559 --> 00:36:18.679
Stanford Maybe biologists, I don't know, but they read the

849
00:36:18.880 --> 00:36:24.920
legal term of like doctor prescription, and we obviously think

850
00:36:24.920 --> 00:36:27.599
of prescription is pills. Yeah, but like in the legal term,

851
00:36:27.639 --> 00:36:31.119
there's nothing like that. So like hypothetically, I'm joking about

852
00:36:31.119 --> 00:36:33.760
the jerking off, but they could write that, well, you know,

853
00:36:33.920 --> 00:36:36.519
if they could write gym memberships, yeah, and then and

854
00:36:36.599 --> 00:36:39.159
charge anybody, But they don't do that. They could charge

855
00:36:39.320 --> 00:36:41.239
they could probably if you had a good doctor that

856
00:36:41.280 --> 00:36:44.039
actually cared about you could write you like a prescription

857
00:36:44.159 --> 00:36:46.679
for like a new mattress to help you sleep better,

858
00:36:46.760 --> 00:36:49.320
because that probably would solve half the world's issue, right,

859
00:36:49.360 --> 00:36:51.480
And that has a lot to do with the grown pains, right,

860
00:36:51.599 --> 00:36:55.159
that pain appetite. You sleep less than you're supposed to

861
00:36:55.280 --> 00:36:57.159
sleep in your grounds, like through the roof, and you're

862
00:36:57.199 --> 00:36:59.480
gonna eat make bad decisions and everyone knows that. And

863
00:36:59.480 --> 00:37:03.360
that's the the evil circle of alcohol. You're up late,

864
00:37:03.639 --> 00:37:06.760
drunk making bad decisions, eating pizza. Then you didn't sleep enough.

865
00:37:06.760 --> 00:37:09.800
Now you're hungover, malnourished, dehydrated. You're gonna make bad.

866
00:37:09.719 --> 00:37:11.960
Food decisions, craving bad stuff again.

867
00:37:11.840 --> 00:37:14.159
Right, because you just have your your inhibition is gone,

868
00:37:14.199 --> 00:37:16.679
and you're gonna make worse decisions when you're hungover and tired,

869
00:37:17.000 --> 00:37:18.599
or even take the alcohol out of it, you're just

870
00:37:18.679 --> 00:37:21.480
tired day after day after day after day. So I

871
00:37:21.519 --> 00:37:23.519
wonder if that will become more of a conversation too,

872
00:37:23.559 --> 00:37:26.239
where maybe you know, they write some Yeah, the gym

873
00:37:26.280 --> 00:37:28.039
membership one just seems like a no brainer. And I

874
00:37:28.079 --> 00:37:29.920
know some insurances cover that or whatever.

875
00:37:29.719 --> 00:37:32.880
But people can some some places pay out of their

876
00:37:33.000 --> 00:37:34.440
HSA or FSA or whatever.

877
00:37:34.559 --> 00:37:36.199
But that's not that common either, right, because if we're

878
00:37:36.199 --> 00:37:38.480
talking about how many people are obese in America versus

879
00:37:38.519 --> 00:37:40.639
how many people even have access to that kind of stuff.

880
00:37:40.679 --> 00:37:41.840
That's a whole nother problem.

881
00:37:42.800 --> 00:37:44.760
Yeah, I mean that's that's an opt in or an

882
00:37:44.760 --> 00:37:47.880
opt out kind of situation. It's very difficult to figure

883
00:37:47.880 --> 00:37:50.800
out what your medical expenses are gonna be for a

884
00:37:50.800 --> 00:37:53.519
particular year so that you can cover it with those

885
00:37:53.559 --> 00:37:57.639
pre tax dollars. That's that's probably a big thing that

886
00:37:57.719 --> 00:38:00.480
keeps people from doing And it's like not knowing because

887
00:38:01.159 --> 00:38:03.599
I don't know how what the how it currently stands.

888
00:38:03.599 --> 00:38:05.440
But like you were like losing that money if you

889
00:38:05.440 --> 00:38:06.880
weren't spending it, right for.

890
00:38:07.159 --> 00:38:09.239
What's my point? Because like, yeah, like someone like me

891
00:38:09.280 --> 00:38:11.320
who doesn't need a bunch of pills, but I'll take

892
00:38:11.320 --> 00:38:13.719
one hundred bucks a month at a gym membership, yeah yeah,

893
00:38:13.880 --> 00:38:15.639
or if they want or if they want to pay

894
00:38:15.840 --> 00:38:18.760
a better mattress or a treadmill, Like why can't you

895
00:38:18.760 --> 00:38:22.320
just prescribe a motherfucker treadmill? Right? Everyone else getting tens

896
00:38:22.320 --> 00:38:25.679
of thousand dollars worth of insulin because they eat themselves

897
00:38:25.679 --> 00:38:29.199
sick and I eat myself healthy and then I get

898
00:38:29.239 --> 00:38:29.719
no bennies.

899
00:38:30.480 --> 00:38:32.000
It's not a level playing field for sure.

900
00:38:32.159 --> 00:38:35.000
Let me forget to talk to you guys about my step,

901
00:38:35.480 --> 00:38:39.920
not my step yeah, father in laws. They need a

902
00:38:39.920 --> 00:38:41.400
place for like their people to go for a gym.

903
00:38:41.440 --> 00:38:44.079
Don' let me forget about that. Oh yeah, it's like

904
00:38:44.119 --> 00:38:46.079
something crazy like cal Trans or something shit like that

905
00:38:47.000 --> 00:38:51.199
had something. Yeah, let me forget. We won't might financially

906
00:38:51.199 --> 00:38:52.400
benefit you, so I don't forget.

907
00:38:52.440 --> 00:38:55.280
Oh, this podcast.

908
00:38:56.440 --> 00:38:58.800
Sell them on veganism, big guy, And I think it's

909
00:38:58.800 --> 00:39:00.599
downtown here, so sick it makes sense.

910
00:39:01.239 --> 00:39:04.559
Anyways, Hey, vote for Dom Bay for CalPERS. By the way,

911
00:39:05.079 --> 00:39:07.800
did you see that Don Bay a good friend of

912
00:39:07.800 --> 00:39:13.559
the show, Dan's older brother always running for CalPERS? Really yeah,

913
00:39:13.639 --> 00:39:14.519
and I'm all for it.

914
00:39:15.639 --> 00:39:21.079
He's the best looking of that set of brothers Dan.

915
00:39:21.840 --> 00:39:24.400
Did you guys see that thing about the ozempic? Did

916
00:39:24.440 --> 00:39:25.679
we talk about it on here? I might talk to

917
00:39:25.719 --> 00:39:28.239
Danny about it like on our podcast. But so there.

918
00:39:28.440 --> 00:39:31.880
So the big you know, food industry, what they're doing

919
00:39:31.960 --> 00:39:38.239
right now is they're developing new foods. Yes. That so like,

920
00:39:38.239 --> 00:39:42.400
like let's say, like Kellogg's is basically putting in chemicals

921
00:39:42.440 --> 00:39:45.920
that will bypass the effects of ozempic so that people

922
00:39:45.960 --> 00:39:49.599
will still crave their foods that are taking ozempic.

923
00:39:49.639 --> 00:39:51.840
Yeah, smart, Yeah, So that's like a big thing.

924
00:39:51.880 --> 00:39:52.719
That's happened right now.

925
00:39:54.679 --> 00:39:57.079
That's where again like the pyramid of the topping at

926
00:39:57.159 --> 00:40:00.519
it is leaks into stuff like that, right, Like like, oh,

927
00:40:00.559 --> 00:40:02.719
the other the weird, other red flag of the show

928
00:40:02.920 --> 00:40:06.880
was MSG. Yeah, they were hated MSG.

929
00:40:07.039 --> 00:40:10.400
I mean I think it was a fully racist driven thing.

930
00:40:10.519 --> 00:40:12.960
Only literally, I think science has caught up and like

931
00:40:13.079 --> 00:40:15.760
MSG is like, yeah, maybe like minorly addictive, but like

932
00:40:15.960 --> 00:40:18.119
we can't like damonize everything that's minorly addictive.

933
00:40:18.280 --> 00:40:21.440
The only think about about the history of the MSG,

934
00:40:21.920 --> 00:40:23.559
I was all racially motivated.

935
00:40:23.280 --> 00:40:25.360
Yeah, because it's only on Panda Express and.

936
00:40:25.760 --> 00:40:27.639
It was all like an attack on Yeah, if you

937
00:40:27.679 --> 00:40:29.559
look at the guy, it's it's a weird story.

938
00:40:30.159 --> 00:40:32.679
It's I grew up with MSG and then it and

939
00:40:32.679 --> 00:40:35.199
then it became like a bad thing and now it's

940
00:40:35.199 --> 00:40:37.639
hard to find. But like when we were in Saint Lucia, man,

941
00:40:37.679 --> 00:40:39.920
we in the kitchen.

942
00:40:39.760 --> 00:40:41.760
Was fucking stocked with it. Man, No, I think it

943
00:40:41.880 --> 00:40:43.159
was amazing.

944
00:40:44.320 --> 00:40:45.039
Salt, right, Yeah.

945
00:40:45.039 --> 00:40:46.960
I think the only issue is like if you're if

946
00:40:47.000 --> 00:40:50.239
you have salt sensitive hypertension, then it's gonna.

947
00:40:50.039 --> 00:40:52.519
Be a pro any of that, right Yeah.

948
00:40:53.159 --> 00:40:54.840
Yeah, why are we in line that goes back to

949
00:40:55.119 --> 00:40:59.320
who's getting health insurance and why you already diabetic high

950
00:40:59.360 --> 00:41:02.159
cholesterol and you're getting free Panda Express and I'm over here,

951
00:41:02.199 --> 00:41:05.280
you know, yeah, exactly, No, Yeah, I think studies have

952
00:41:05.320 --> 00:41:07.320
caught up that MSG is not nearly as bad. And

953
00:41:07.320 --> 00:41:09.599
the same with salt. They demonized salt decently in this

954
00:41:09.760 --> 00:41:11.440
not a ton of times, but they make sure salt's

955
00:41:11.440 --> 00:41:11.599
in a.

956
00:41:11.599 --> 00:41:14.320
Weird place right now, right, like it's souper hated on,

957
00:41:14.840 --> 00:41:18.039
like it's very hated on, yeah, or it's like highly

958
00:41:18.159 --> 00:41:21.320
encouraged with like these hydration yeah drinks, they're just all

959
00:41:21.360 --> 00:41:22.360
sodium drinks. Right.

960
00:41:22.400 --> 00:41:25.599
Obviously it depends on who you're talking to, not in

961
00:41:25.679 --> 00:41:27.360
terms of who you're talking to what they believe, but

962
00:41:28.280 --> 00:41:31.000
the dose depends on the client, right, and so like, yeah,

963
00:41:31.119 --> 00:41:33.159
salt if you're sweating all day or whatever, but the

964
00:41:33.199 --> 00:41:35.320
bigger issue is they're not the bigger issue. But it's

965
00:41:35.320 --> 00:41:37.199
a balance of it, all right, So, yeah, sodium is

966
00:41:37.239 --> 00:41:39.800
great and whatever, but if you're only getting sodium from

967
00:41:39.800 --> 00:41:42.239
your fried chicken and you're not drinking water, like, yeah,

968
00:41:42.280 --> 00:41:44.000
we may have come into issues. But if you're just

969
00:41:44.079 --> 00:41:47.079
drinking some fucking water, and again, you're moving your body.

970
00:41:47.280 --> 00:41:49.400
I even just like put it on my Instagram story,

971
00:41:49.440 --> 00:41:52.440
like just being a dickhead minorly, just like, look, man,

972
00:41:52.480 --> 00:41:55.400
you lift weights for a couple of decades, you chug

973
00:41:55.480 --> 00:41:57.719
fucking water, you eat a vegetable a day, and you

974
00:41:57.800 --> 00:41:59.679
sleep a lot, You're probably gonna get this all this

975
00:41:59.719 --> 00:42:01.880
anti aging you need, you know, like that's all the

976
00:42:01.920 --> 00:42:03.599
secret sauce we have. But if you're missing one of

977
00:42:03.599 --> 00:42:05.920
those pieces, it really can throw everything off. Right, you're

978
00:42:05.920 --> 00:42:07.760
fucking up to sleep if you're not drinking your water.

979
00:42:08.039 --> 00:42:10.599
Now that fried food and salt's gonna fuck you up more.

980
00:42:10.960 --> 00:42:13.199
And then obviously in the dose, yeah, you're fried food

981
00:42:13.239 --> 00:42:16.599
every single fucking day. All you get is mayonnaise, boloney sandwiches,

982
00:42:16.719 --> 00:42:19.840
you know, and your thing with a lazed chips. Like yeah.

983
00:42:19.880 --> 00:42:22.519
They also kind of demonized like barbecue, right because of

984
00:42:22.559 --> 00:42:23.360
the percentages and.

985
00:42:23.519 --> 00:42:25.159
That like is the thing too, but it's just not.

986
00:42:25.239 --> 00:42:29.400
But it's much it's like the no one died from

987
00:42:29.400 --> 00:42:32.880
a healthy lifestyle because they a barbecue. No, actually that

988
00:42:33.199 --> 00:42:34.960
you know what I mean, Like that's what's happening. No,

989
00:42:35.039 --> 00:42:36.920
your argument's so good because it's even better.

990
00:42:37.079 --> 00:42:41.360
I Uh. They always pull the ancestor card right, So

991
00:42:41.400 --> 00:42:44.599
the whole thing starts with your ancestors could only eat

992
00:42:44.639 --> 00:42:47.440
what there was available in your area, They could only

993
00:42:47.480 --> 00:42:49.679
eat certain times of the year because of snow, blah

994
00:42:49.679 --> 00:42:53.280
blah blah blah. And then they they demonized barbecue. How

995
00:42:53.320 --> 00:42:54.800
were my ancestors cooking.

996
00:42:54.559 --> 00:42:55.239
Cooking the food.

997
00:42:55.280 --> 00:42:57.639
Yeah, they had a they had a stove, they had

998
00:42:57.679 --> 00:43:00.199
an iron stove, and a fucking it had to be

999
00:43:00.239 --> 00:43:03.440
on an open, fucking flame that had carcinogen's like a motherfucker.

1000
00:43:03.800 --> 00:43:06.119
And then also like we don't have the data and

1001
00:43:06.239 --> 00:43:09.400
doctors of cavemen, we don't know what the fuck they had. Yeah,

1002
00:43:09.519 --> 00:43:11.559
they could have had cancer up the wazoo for all

1003
00:43:11.599 --> 00:43:13.239
we know, Like what the fuck do we know?

1004
00:43:13.480 --> 00:43:16.800
And life expectancy, I mean, yeah, it's yeah.

1005
00:43:17.559 --> 00:43:24.119
Now, if you're doing alcohol, drugs, fast food, fried food, barbecue,

1006
00:43:24.440 --> 00:43:25.639
that's probably not a good idea.

1007
00:43:25.679 --> 00:43:28.880
Well if yeah, if fried chicken and pizza are your

1008
00:43:28.920 --> 00:43:33.280
appetizer for your ribi on the carcinogenic barbecue, yeah, but

1009
00:43:33.280 --> 00:43:37.159
if you're having a fucking asparagus fucking salad with your

1010
00:43:37.559 --> 00:43:40.000
ribi on the barbecue three times when you're working out,

1011
00:43:40.039 --> 00:43:42.159
you're probably in a good spot. Hydrating you're working out,

1012
00:43:42.159 --> 00:43:45.400
you're eating vegetables. That's not bad for you, but just

1013
00:43:45.400 --> 00:43:48.920
wanted to chew on cilantro while have fucking drive to work.

1014
00:43:49.320 --> 00:43:53.199
We need to do a study on uh cilantro and

1015
00:43:53.559 --> 00:43:58.159
the demographic that eats it, and then the cancer rate

1016
00:43:58.239 --> 00:44:00.400
in that community and see like if they're if it's

1017
00:44:00.480 --> 00:44:02.960
less or not. Yeah, that'd be a great study. Like

1018
00:44:03.039 --> 00:44:06.960
let's take the Hispanic community for example. Let's see because

1019
00:44:07.000 --> 00:44:10.480
we can all agree they probably have a pricelantro intake,

1020
00:44:11.079 --> 00:44:13.400
and I want to see their cancer compared to everybody else.

1021
00:44:13.280 --> 00:44:16.559
Right right, Yeah, there's just so many factors everywhere, and

1022
00:44:16.360 --> 00:44:19.840
they just again like majoring in the miners. This whole

1023
00:44:19.840 --> 00:44:22.079
documentary is just majoring in the miners or white.

1024
00:44:21.880 --> 00:44:25.119
Suburbian people too, because you know, you gotta lat of selectra.

1025
00:44:26.119 --> 00:44:29.320
Yeah what I swear they mentioned basil and cilantro like

1026
00:44:29.360 --> 00:44:30.480
it was fucking God's gift.

1027
00:44:31.400 --> 00:44:33.599
I mean they're great, Yeah, they're fine, They're I don't

1028
00:44:33.639 --> 00:44:36.360
have any high expectations for them, you know, like changing

1029
00:44:36.400 --> 00:44:37.280
my body.

1030
00:44:36.960 --> 00:44:41.519
Chemistry or there's taco tastes fucking good though.

1031
00:44:41.559 --> 00:44:44.320
There's always something they do though, because like broccoli sprouts,

1032
00:44:44.320 --> 00:44:47.119
how to run where they're just fixing everything. You just

1033
00:44:47.199 --> 00:44:49.559
fucking take a shake or put broccoli sprouts in your

1034
00:44:49.599 --> 00:44:52.320
meal and you're just fucking healthy, you know, and like

1035
00:44:52.400 --> 00:44:54.440
dude in broccoli though, But like the truth is with

1036
00:44:54.599 --> 00:44:57.199
the human body, it's it's probably not what we're gonna

1037
00:44:57.199 --> 00:44:59.880
add into fixes is probably what we're going to take out. Yeah,

1038
00:45:00.199 --> 00:45:01.840
you know, like the more you take out, the probably

1039
00:45:01.840 --> 00:45:03.519
healthier you'll be, rather the more you add in.

1040
00:45:03.719 --> 00:45:06.639
I think it's so funny, man, It's it's this shit

1041
00:45:06.760 --> 00:45:09.360
is so fucking simple, I know, but it's the most

1042
00:45:09.440 --> 00:45:13.320
over analyzed thing on the plants Like, okay, eat eat good,

1043
00:45:13.840 --> 00:45:18.159
sleep good with a balanced diet, and move around more

1044
00:45:18.239 --> 00:45:21.039
than you don't and that's all you gotta do.

1045
00:45:21.119 --> 00:45:23.360
Manyeah, even this they do like they find a way

1046
00:45:23.400 --> 00:45:25.639
to wrap up like veganism or whatever they're doing into

1047
00:45:25.679 --> 00:45:27.880
like a perfect pill, because people do want the easy route,

1048
00:45:27.840 --> 00:45:29.639
and I understand they want the easier route, but the

1049
00:45:29.679 --> 00:45:33.199
same psychology they're using is the same as carnivores using, like, oh,

1050
00:45:33.199 --> 00:45:35.119
it's easy when you just throw out all veggies, And

1051
00:45:35.280 --> 00:45:37.119
they're saying it's easy when you just throw out everything

1052
00:45:37.159 --> 00:45:40.360
but fucking basil, you know, like like it's the same argument.

1053
00:45:40.519 --> 00:45:43.960
It's the same, it's a psychological argument, and like obviously

1054
00:45:44.000 --> 00:45:45.679
none of that because the truth is is like a

1055
00:45:45.760 --> 00:45:48.760
variety of foods is probably good, you know, like yeah,

1056
00:45:48.960 --> 00:45:50.880
fried food probably doesn't have a ton of place in

1057
00:45:50.920 --> 00:45:52.679
there a lot of benefit, but like it's not gonna

1058
00:45:52.719 --> 00:45:55.719
kill you if it's twice a month. It's just that percentage.

1059
00:45:56.320 --> 00:45:57.840
Only the fringe sells though.

1060
00:45:57.960 --> 00:45:59.920
Yeah, for sure, you can't sell the movie on.

1061
00:46:00.719 --> 00:46:04.159
You can't sell You should probably just you know, portion

1062
00:46:04.400 --> 00:46:07.639
control and eat a balanced diet, you know, don't sell that.

1063
00:46:07.639 --> 00:46:10.639
That's literally when I said, like, walk a bunch, lift weights,

1064
00:46:10.679 --> 00:46:12.360
eat a vegetable in my story, I said, pay me

1065
00:46:12.559 --> 00:46:15.400
fifteen grand for the advice, because you can't.

1066
00:46:15.440 --> 00:46:15.760
You can't.

1067
00:46:15.760 --> 00:46:18.480
But if I came up with this crazy story on

1068
00:46:18.519 --> 00:46:22.400
this crazy supplement list, and which literally online coaches do

1069
00:46:22.639 --> 00:46:25.440
very commonly when you buy their program, they shuttle you

1070
00:46:25.519 --> 00:46:28.079
a list, a fucking huge list of supplements you got

1071
00:46:28.119 --> 00:46:30.320
to take. Now you have like a secret sauce. Yep,

1072
00:46:30.559 --> 00:46:32.840
you know, yeah, it's trash and that's just the industry.

1073
00:46:32.920 --> 00:46:35.719
Like I forgot what the stats or the psych or

1074
00:46:35.719 --> 00:46:37.360
the list is. But there's like three things that are

1075
00:46:37.400 --> 00:46:39.599
just super easy to sell to humans. And it's like

1076
00:46:39.760 --> 00:46:41.960
how to make money, how to look good, and then

1077
00:46:42.039 --> 00:46:43.800
like yeah, how to like attract a partner or something,

1078
00:46:43.840 --> 00:46:45.800
and those are just like the pain points of every

1079
00:46:45.840 --> 00:46:48.599
human arnor how to summon a mate? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

1080
00:46:48.639 --> 00:46:50.639
The pheromones. Remember, even when we were like college and shiit,

1081
00:46:50.639 --> 00:46:53.199
people were like selling pheromones and shit, there's like weird

1082
00:46:53.199 --> 00:46:55.760
things like that, like a pheromone cologne.

1083
00:46:55.840 --> 00:46:57.079
Yeah, you wear like horses dick.

1084
00:46:57.280 --> 00:46:59.159
Yeah, and then every chick wants you At the party.

1085
00:46:59.360 --> 00:47:01.000
There was like shit like that everywhere, And of course

1086
00:47:01.039 --> 00:47:02.159
Dud's bought it because they thought.

1087
00:47:02.079 --> 00:47:03.880
They walked in the party and all the dudes started

1088
00:47:03.960 --> 00:47:04.519
kissing on him.

1089
00:47:04.880 --> 00:47:12.920
Wait a second, horse bent me over, surprised. Oh, they

1090
00:47:12.920 --> 00:47:20.559
didn't mention this benefit. It's good fucking talky Mexico. Dude,

1091
00:47:21.360 --> 00:47:24.280
you're sick, bastard. You know you put that in my head.

1092
00:47:24.880 --> 00:47:26.639
Yeah, I don't never mind. I was gonna go somewhere.

1093
00:47:27.719 --> 00:47:31.360
You're sick, bro, All right, Well, things that this put

1094
00:47:31.400 --> 00:47:34.199
in our head. It's just how.

1095
00:47:35.840 --> 00:47:38.480
Time has passed and things haven't changed about what people

1096
00:47:38.559 --> 00:47:39.199
want to believe.

1097
00:47:40.400 --> 00:47:44.360
No, because who's fucking vegan now fucking lived till three hundred. Boy,

1098
00:47:45.440 --> 00:47:47.119
Oh yeah, who uses viagra?

1099
00:47:47.239 --> 00:47:49.639
That just came out and he just yeah, it is funny.

1100
00:47:50.039 --> 00:47:53.039
No, he's uh, I have thirty pills a day, right,

1101
00:47:53.199 --> 00:47:55.159
he started, I told you. And I don't think although

1102
00:47:55.280 --> 00:47:57.400
our phones are obviously listening, I don't think it's because

1103
00:47:57.400 --> 00:47:59.320
of that. I think he got a huge jump of

1104
00:47:59.360 --> 00:48:02.920
popularity from that movie that was again mediocre, because he's

1105
00:48:02.920 --> 00:48:05.559
been all over my Twitter arguing and talking and yes,

1106
00:48:05.599 --> 00:48:07.079
sahs this and sallus that.

1107
00:48:08.039 --> 00:48:11.159
Oh, like it's benefits for like violation.

1108
00:48:10.960 --> 00:48:12.840
Yeah, which is like I have heard that too, right,

1109
00:48:12.920 --> 00:48:16.639
like it was originally made like circulat right, yeah, blood

1110
00:48:16.639 --> 00:48:19.639
cloths and like that, and there probably is something and

1111
00:48:19.719 --> 00:48:22.079
same with like the advill has gone back and forth, right,

1112
00:48:22.079 --> 00:48:23.840
like they used to have people with hard conditions taking

1113
00:48:24.199 --> 00:48:26.760
low doses a day and now they're questioning it or whatever.

1114
00:48:26.840 --> 00:48:29.559
But yeah, yeah.

1115
00:48:29.719 --> 00:48:31.599
They say that it doesn't make any difference. But you

1116
00:48:31.639 --> 00:48:33.400
haven't had a if you haven't had a stroke, it

1117
00:48:33.400 --> 00:48:36.280
doesn't make a difference. Take it all the time. When

1118
00:48:36.280 --> 00:48:38.880
they when they said, yeah, should take it.

1119
00:48:41.800 --> 00:48:48.039
All right, let's rate this thing, and the i A

1120
00:48:48.039 --> 00:48:51.960
would say the principal image other than that blonde woman's

1121
00:48:52.360 --> 00:48:55.880
beehive hairdoo for me has to be the wheelbarrow full

1122
00:48:55.920 --> 00:49:04.360
of sugar cubes. So from one to five wheelbarrows full

1123
00:49:04.400 --> 00:49:05.239
of sugar cubes.

1124
00:49:06.000 --> 00:49:09.280
Fuck man, it wasn't the worst because we've watched again,

1125
00:49:09.320 --> 00:49:11.000
a lot of shitters lately. I don't know why you

1126
00:49:11.000 --> 00:49:13.239
can't make a good documentary, Like again, I know it's

1127
00:49:13.239 --> 00:49:15.719
easy for me to do it from my armchair at home,

1128
00:49:15.760 --> 00:49:18.639
but I know there's better ways to make documentaries right now,

1129
00:49:19.360 --> 00:49:21.760
and just no one in our industry does it, you know,

1130
00:49:21.800 --> 00:49:24.199
because every other industry I watched sick ones. Scientology is

1131
00:49:24.239 --> 00:49:27.000
a sick one. Fucking planet Earth will blow your brains out,

1132
00:49:27.039 --> 00:49:29.400
you know, Like there's ways to make really dope documentaries.

1133
00:49:30.119 --> 00:49:33.400
It's just forever. Maybe there's just idiots running fitness documentaries.

1134
00:49:34.719 --> 00:49:38.320
Out of five sugars, yeah, like one nine. You know,

1135
00:49:38.440 --> 00:49:41.320
I really did feel like I just got hired to

1136
00:49:41.559 --> 00:49:44.239
the almond factory or the basil factory and they sat

1137
00:49:44.280 --> 00:49:47.199
me down and said, Hey, this is what we begeiga,

1138
00:49:47.480 --> 00:49:50.679
this is what we believe in. Learn this, preach this

1139
00:49:51.360 --> 00:49:56.119
walks like the orientation video, like a video like walk

1140
00:49:56.159 --> 00:49:58.559
walk with this. My vegetable brother, Ye know that's what

1141
00:49:58.599 --> 00:49:59.920
it felt like. Yeah.

1142
00:50:00.360 --> 00:50:03.199
Yeah, it was like the remember the back in the day,

1143
00:50:03.280 --> 00:50:05.360
the Bible vegetables.

1144
00:50:05.599 --> 00:50:06.400
Yeah, back in the day.

1145
00:50:06.400 --> 00:50:06.960
I remember that.

1146
00:50:07.119 --> 00:50:09.159
You remember that you might be too young?

1147
00:50:09.320 --> 00:50:10.039
Is like a cartoon?

1148
00:50:10.159 --> 00:50:12.719
Yeah, yeah, yeah, veggietails, vegetail.

1149
00:50:13.199 --> 00:50:14.440
Yeah, this was veggietail.

1150
00:50:14.559 --> 00:50:18.239
No, this was literally veggietails with fake doctors. Yes, yeah,

1151
00:50:18.400 --> 00:50:21.199
it felt like that, bro. Yeah, And I'm all for vegetables.

1152
00:50:21.199 --> 00:50:22.360
I think people should eat more.

1153
00:50:22.760 --> 00:50:24.599
I I don't eat enough. I've been eating. I've been

1154
00:50:24.599 --> 00:50:28.480
working in I think like a super Greens salad, uh,

1155
00:50:28.639 --> 00:50:30.400
every lunch right right now, I'm doing a lot of

1156
00:50:30.440 --> 00:50:32.840
chicken and super greens because I wasn't eating enough vegetables.

1157
00:50:32.920 --> 00:50:35.480
Not because of the cars really, it's more just like, yeah,

1158
00:50:35.519 --> 00:50:37.159
I'm like tightening things up a little bit, but like

1159
00:50:37.239 --> 00:50:40.159
for summer, but the I need to get more greens in. Yeah,

1160
00:50:40.199 --> 00:50:40.679
I'm getting that.

1161
00:50:40.840 --> 00:50:41.199
Yeah.

1162
00:50:41.400 --> 00:50:44.559
I fucking slam them lazy to make him honestly, manit

1163
00:50:44.719 --> 00:50:46.360
that's what you could throw on the rice cooker, cooks

1164
00:50:46.400 --> 00:50:47.119
and meat and boom done.

1165
00:50:47.119 --> 00:50:48.639
That's why you do lazy ways like I add a

1166
00:50:48.639 --> 00:50:51.440
bunch of kim chi. Yeah, you put me on the

1167
00:50:51.480 --> 00:50:53.599
Kim super Salad, super salad.

1168
00:50:53.719 --> 00:50:55.679
It's all one time, and then I bought some and

1169
00:50:55.679 --> 00:50:56.199
then I've been eating.

1170
00:50:56.440 --> 00:50:58.119
Yeah, it's just so easy. And even the frozen ship.

1171
00:50:58.159 --> 00:50:59.559
I used to just do a big old bag of

1172
00:50:59.639 --> 00:51:01.400
frozen mixed and you just dumped that out with their

1173
00:51:01.400 --> 00:51:03.480
ground beef because it cooks in a minute. Like there

1174
00:51:03.480 --> 00:51:05.519
are ways, and yeah they're not the most delicious. I'd

1175
00:51:05.599 --> 00:51:07.840
much rather have pizza, but it's fine.

1176
00:51:07.559 --> 00:51:09.760
Sure, and you still can have pizza, just not every day.

1177
00:51:09.880 --> 00:51:13.400
Yeah, not with my diet soda fatness and Aspertain brain.

1178
00:51:13.599 --> 00:51:16.199
Yeah, Aspertain brain, y'all get one and a half. I

1179
00:51:16.239 --> 00:51:18.280
mean I didn't. I feel like I walked away like knowing,

1180
00:51:18.480 --> 00:51:22.480
like learning less than the.

1181
00:51:21.400 --> 00:51:24.199
Kids sucked information out of my brain.

1182
00:51:25.719 --> 00:51:27.239
That's all these nutrition guys though.

1183
00:51:27.320 --> 00:51:30.079
I don't know, is there a good nutrition documentary. I

1184
00:51:30.199 --> 00:51:30.880
feel like there's not.

1185
00:51:31.360 --> 00:51:34.960
Game Changers was made better, It definitely made better, but

1186
00:51:35.119 --> 00:51:36.840
not like from an information standard.

1187
00:51:36.920 --> 00:51:37.440
No, I don't know.

1188
00:51:37.519 --> 00:51:40.000
They don't want to have a point of view that

1189
00:51:40.039 --> 00:51:40.719
we sell.

1190
00:51:40.960 --> 00:51:43.039
The one that we want. No one would want.

1191
00:51:43.119 --> 00:51:46.519
That's why I said, podcast like the Augustino Debates, Lane

1192
00:51:46.519 --> 00:51:49.400
Norton on Rogan like that's a good episode because you

1193
00:51:49.440 --> 00:51:53.000
get like the kind of keto carnivore guy who's actually

1194
00:51:53.039 --> 00:51:55.519
an educated one who does the studies, and then you

1195
00:51:55.519 --> 00:51:58.920
have Lane who's like the balanced, main pop guy, and

1196
00:51:59.119 --> 00:52:00.320
then they're kind of buddies.

1197
00:52:00.440 --> 00:52:00.559
You know.

1198
00:52:00.719 --> 00:52:03.239
Lane's the only guy kind of holding down, and Mike

1199
00:52:03.360 --> 00:52:08.239
is the the what's the word, like the real ship. Yeah,

1200
00:52:09.639 --> 00:52:12.440
he's like, it's like, it's yeah, it's what is it?

1201
00:52:12.480 --> 00:52:14.960
The middle ground? I guess somehow he's made the middle

1202
00:52:14.960 --> 00:52:16.119
ground edgy.

1203
00:52:16.280 --> 00:52:18.719
Yeah. No, those two U And that's who you need

1204
00:52:18.719 --> 00:52:20.960
to make the documentary with, right, the Eric Helms and

1205
00:52:21.000 --> 00:52:23.239
the guys who can speak well going to the beginning

1206
00:52:23.280 --> 00:52:24.920
of this, who can speak well can kind of capture

1207
00:52:24.920 --> 00:52:27.920
an audience explain things well on a complicated level, because

1208
00:52:27.920 --> 00:52:31.320
they are the guys studying, you know, the molecules and

1209
00:52:31.400 --> 00:52:34.760
actual ships. But they'll just probably never do it.

1210
00:52:35.320 --> 00:52:37.719
Well, we should, we should do it, and we'll call

1211
00:52:37.800 --> 00:52:40.320
it the only nutrition documentary that's worth a ship.

1212
00:52:40.519 --> 00:52:45.320
Yeah, that'd be a great buck. Have chat gibt right

1213
00:52:45.320 --> 00:52:45.880
the whole thing too.

1214
00:52:48.880 --> 00:52:51.400
Chattib might be more skewed by ship like this. Yeah,

1215
00:52:51.400 --> 00:52:54.760
it depends on gathers data and like shoves it down yet,

1216
00:52:54.960 --> 00:52:58.199
use just he's just eating cilantro all day.

1217
00:52:58.559 --> 00:53:01.079
Doesn't he have his own chatty now? And yeah rock yeah,

1218
00:53:01.159 --> 00:53:02.679
rock yeah.

1219
00:53:02.199 --> 00:53:04.000
Big Cilantro. We're just fighting big Cilantro.

1220
00:53:04.440 --> 00:53:05.719
The battle of Big Cilantro.

1221
00:53:06.119 --> 00:53:06.800
Uh for me?

1222
00:53:06.960 --> 00:53:10.280
And this is a this is one a one and

1223
00:53:10.280 --> 00:53:12.400
and I think maybe.

1224
00:53:12.159 --> 00:53:15.039
Half the sugar Cubes or Stevie or something.

1225
00:53:15.360 --> 00:53:18.920
It was just it now it is. It was not

1226
00:53:19.199 --> 00:53:22.679
It was not good. It was poor constructed, it was

1227
00:53:22.880 --> 00:53:26.320
it was just not good. And the thing, the thing

1228
00:53:26.360 --> 00:53:28.559
that boggles my mind is so many people liked it

1229
00:53:28.599 --> 00:53:30.960
and said so many positive reviews and whatever.

1230
00:53:30.880 --> 00:53:34.880
Which is the only reason, because you've made it's got

1231
00:53:34.880 --> 00:53:36.360
to be paid for. All that ship's got to be

1232
00:53:36.360 --> 00:53:36.679
paid for.

1233
00:53:37.360 --> 00:53:39.079
How we came to this one was the last time.

1234
00:53:39.119 --> 00:53:41.239
It's like, we can't do any more bodybuilding documentaries at

1235
00:53:41.320 --> 00:53:44.639
least for a while because they suck, and and you

1236
00:53:44.800 --> 00:53:47.280
and Eutene said, what about nutrition? We could go back

1237
00:53:47.280 --> 00:53:49.159
and do it a nutrition thing. And I was looking

1238
00:53:49.199 --> 00:53:52.360
like best nutrition documentaries and this is fucking top.

1239
00:53:52.199 --> 00:53:55.119
Of the list, and it's like, how is that the case?

1240
00:53:56.000 --> 00:53:57.199
Because it's terrible.

1241
00:53:57.440 --> 00:53:59.079
Maybe it's just like one of those things it's like

1242
00:53:59.199 --> 00:54:03.719
age out, Rhythm hits, paid hits, you know, like sometimes

1243
00:54:03.760 --> 00:54:06.760
you can't trust those curated A lot of those pages. Yeah,

1244
00:54:07.039 --> 00:54:10.320
the ranking pages, they get all paid for and curated,

1245
00:54:10.440 --> 00:54:13.159
and it s a s oh.

1246
00:54:13.280 --> 00:54:15.480
I mean like it documentary has what like I'm making

1247
00:54:15.519 --> 00:54:17.199
it up. But let's say because this one wasn't huge,

1248
00:54:17.239 --> 00:54:19.480
let's say that's thirty people work on it. You should

1249
00:54:19.480 --> 00:54:21.519
have them thirty review it. You got thirty really good

1250
00:54:21.559 --> 00:54:22.280
reviews right there.

1251
00:54:23.199 --> 00:54:24.519
Probably so probably so.

1252
00:54:24.639 --> 00:54:27.119
You don't know who Johnny was in special effects? You know,

1253
00:54:27.280 --> 00:54:28.760
I would love my four dollars back.

1254
00:54:28.800 --> 00:54:29.360
I don't know about you.

1255
00:54:29.559 --> 00:54:33.719
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it sucked whatever.

1256
00:54:34.280 --> 00:54:35.679
This is what it is? Where can people find it?

1257
00:54:35.760 --> 00:54:38.559
Dean? Yeah, it's at Capin and Kilos and at Dean stores.

1258
00:54:39.079 --> 00:54:41.400
And it's your local scientology.

1259
00:54:41.960 --> 00:54:43.679
Standing out downtown doco.

1260
00:54:43.920 --> 00:54:46.360
He's danding outside the window watching the videos.

1261
00:54:46.480 --> 00:54:51.159
He's doing free yeah, or electric readings, electrode probes.

1262
00:54:51.280 --> 00:54:52.119
Let's see that, riz.

1263
00:54:52.320 --> 00:54:57.360
Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, new episodes, everyone's down, sound like

1264
00:54:57.360 --> 00:54:59.920
we want honey, Third Street bar bills, Second On California.

1265
00:55:00.119 --> 00:55:02.079
See I'm Sebastian and a score brand bil on.

1266
00:55:02.039 --> 00:55:05.079
I G I am at the j McDonnell so social Media.

1267
00:55:05.119 --> 00:55:06.960
This show is fifty percent facts, where percent is a

1268
00:55:07.000 --> 00:55:09.440
word in fifties just numbers fifty percent facts. This is

1269
00:55:09.559 --> 00:55:12.400
Freaker Prime Podcast and association with iHeartMedia on the Obscure

1270
00:55:12.480 --> 00:55:15.280
Celebrity Network. On topic, probably can talk about scientology next time,

1271
00:55:15.360 --> 00:55:35.199
talking about getting out of our lane
